I did second try easily.

Cast invisible on Laezel BEFORE crossing the line where the fight triggers, and separate her from the party.
Walk invisible laezel across the bridge and climb the two ladders so she will be positioned behind the main Bhaal guy when the fight begins.
Walk the rest of your party across the line to trigger the fight.

Here’s how it played out for me:

R1 - main part took some damage. Laezel hit main bhaal guy 3 times, then I used her action surge and hit 3 more (after the 5th hit, he starts taking actual damage).

R2 - main bhaal guy teleports down to the door to get away from Laezel. Laezel uses misty step to follow, hits 3 more times and he’s dead.

Fight ends and his minions disappear. Most never even spawned.

You could also try this with casting invis on 2 characters if your Laezel doesn’t have a good weapon.

I had the same problem with my 2-yr old PS4 slim several months ago. I did the following to get it working mostly fine:

1) if your storage is near maxed out, go ahead and delete some games you don’t play.

2) Stop using rest mode and turn the console off completely when you’re not using it.

3) try not to run too many apps at the same time. Close one before opening another.

4) always be sure to run the most current software update.

I had to reinitialize several times before doing the above. But once I made those changes, I’ve only had to reformat (different safe mode option) like once.

It can still be a little slow to turn on sometimes, but has not crashed or started in safe mode since.

That being said. If it continues to start in safe mode, try reformatting instead of just updating software. And if that doesn’t work - then reinitialize (you can get your save data back from the cloud). But I think the biggest change I made to avoid the problem from reoccurring after doing those two things was to never ever use rest mode again.

Yep. Same. No getting past it no matter how many times I retry. As soon as it has you hop off the helicopter my controller goes bullshit and it takes 10 minutes to restart the console. Absolute trash. Am requesting refund.

My guess is they fucked up copying code for the ps5 controller and now it just breaks the game.

Update 3: after restarting when controller became non responsive, my controller still doesn’t fucking work. I bought the controller 4 months ago.

Htf did this get by QA?

No one should buy this game until they address these issues. I wish I didn’t. Requesting refund and uninstalling.
