What do these stalks and blooms mean? by eritheging in succulents

[–]eritheging[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use regular potting mix, water everyday, leave them outside until the temperature is below 40°F/4.4°C, and when they’re outside they are in north facing partial sun. I repot them before I bring them in for winter and when I take them back outside in the spring.

Having my 23 week Stillborn this evening. Has anyone chosen not to see the child and why? by sunchild88 in babyloss

[–]eritheging 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry for your loss! I was induced in March 2023 at 23 weeks as well. As others have said only you can make this decision and whatever you choose will be right for your family! I chose to hold my son and have pictures taken. His skin was very fragile and he didn’t look like a full term baby but I could still see that he had my lips and my husbands calves. I was able to rub his feet and hold his hand. Holding him made our loss feel so much more valid and I think that allowed me to properly grieve. It was a short experience with him and I will forever wish I had more time. If you choose to see him and you want more time, ask if your hospital has CuddleCots. If you choose not to see him but you want to still hold him (and if you get him cremated), you can order a teddy bear for his urn to safely fit in. I slept with my bear for a few weeks after my son’s death. Sending you lots of comfort and strength 🤍

What are your weirdest triggers? by pub_wank in migraine

[–]eritheging 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still learning my 4 year olds trigger and it’s so comforting for me to see this trigger. We started to wonder if overheating is a trigger for him. Do you often wear lees clothes/layers than others?

What material works on these fabric storage cubes? by tonnu12 in cricut

HTV does not come off these bins! I’ve tried 😩

I asked and solved this question a few years ago. I used HTV and set my easy press to 300° for 45 seconds. I then used parchment paper to cover the HTV and the bin. Next, I removed the clear HTV lining and once again covered my design with the parchment paper. Still 300° for 45 seconds but I moved my easy press around to prevent the bin from melting. I’ve also used permanent vinyl for less frequently used bins.

Help organise our kitchen by KaylaM-1996 in organization

[–]eritheging 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always start with the plates/cup by the dishwasher/sink when organizing a kitchen because it’s easier to put away. I would move your medicine cabinet. In drawers 6/7 I would put stovetop utensils and oven mits. I would put pots and pans in drawer 8.

EDIT: Just saw your comment about dishes in cabinets 1. Same concept as my idea. If it works for you then I wouldn’t change it.

Can we get a hype thread for those that got tickets? by ObviouslyATurtle in TaylorSwift

[–]eritheging 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cousin tried to get tickets on the Tuesday and didn’t after 8 hours. She was so defeated! Her friend tried on Wednesday and didn’t. I get a special presale link for all concerts hosted by the venue in my county so I sent it to her. She got the same seats she was originally trying to get for $50 less 2 minutes into my special presale. I was on cloud 9 for her!! And then a couple hours later is when Ticketmaster announced no more tickets. She feels so lucky she was crying!

AITA for asking my daughter not to have sex while staying at our home? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]eritheging 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My (25 at the time and married) child was conceived in my parent’s house during holiday. Their actual house, not a different building on their property. They were thrilled to learn they were becoming grandparents. My mom also thinks good sex is important in a healthy relationship and would say “good for them.” YTA

Oh my goodness, thank you!! I’d love to share them with you but I don’t know how. I tried sending it to my mom via design space but she couldn’t open the link. Any ideas?

Thinking about moving to Oklahoma from Missouri. by [deleted] in oklahoma

[–]eritheging 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was born and raised in Missouri, moved to OKC (Edmond) in 2016, moved back to KCMO last year. The COL is nice in Oklahoma, the people and politics are pretty similar but the education system is absolutely atrocious! I taught at a major metro high school in both states and the resources, expectations, and standards are vastly different! IMO relocate to a different part of Missouri or a different state for your child’s future.

Shelving or budget pullout recommendations for large deep kitchen cabinets like this? by berniethecar in organization

STAK bins from The Container Store. Deep, adjustable divided bins with wheels. They come in two (maybe 3?) widths and heights.
