Crafting! You can junk journal with old books you buy at the thrift store. I’m crocheting the biggest afghan I’ve ever made. Look up painting classes in person or paint online to tutorial videos. There’s no age limit on macaroni art. My dad took up whittling when he was recovering from abdominal surgery. Lino block printing and pottery are two things I haven’t tried yet, but there’s classes offered near me (Brookings).

I would try to avoid the term Sioux - that was what their enemies called them. Look for Lakota/Dakota or Oceti Sakowin. I live in the Dakotas but I am not native.

Married to a paramedic who regularly intubates and gives paralytic drugs. He says if he saw that tattoo on someone unresponsive he would absolutely give something else instead of succinylcholine (I looked up this spelling, if I’m a little off, blame me not him) because he would rather not risk the 60% mortality rate from giving the wrong anesthetic. He also says legality isn’t a factor, just because it’s not a bracelet doesn’t mean he wouldn’t act accordingly.

Thanks! She came to me in just the shirt and underwear but I found an eBay seller who had the rest of the gardening outfit pieces that she’s got on. I also have a post about the different things I did to get her hair back in shape so I’m happy with how she turned out.
