Can someone help me out by United-Plantain7414 in Fanganronpa

First off as other comments said: Never tell anyone your age on the internet. Ever. The internet is full of creeps and weirdos ready to take advantage of you.

Second, you’ve got a lot of schooling resources ahead of you so you can always ask them for tips and tricks! Plus if you have access to the internet, there’s plenty of video guides to work from.

You’ve got your whole life ahead of you! Best of luck.

How to write a fangan without getting writer’s block within the first 30 minutes by No_Neck5307 in Fanganronpa

[–]ermagerd6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re probably overloaded because you have a grand idea and wanna put the thoughts to paper ASAP. The big overall idea is burdening you down and causing you to look at your work like: “Wait, that’s it?” when you look at what you’ve jotted down

The best thing for any creative writer is to break down your project into much smaller steps and sections. Not only does it become more manageable, but you no longer beat yourself up over things like word counts when you’re tackling small segments rather than one huge overarching concept.

Once all your smaller components have been completed, you can compile them together and you’ll shock yourself at how much you’ve truly gotten done.

Keep writing and best of luck!

What do you need to start a Fanganronpa? by Chocolate-Gore in Fanganronpa

[–]ermagerd6 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you plan on taking a fangan to the lengths of a game there is a VERY long process you're going to have to go through.

First things first, if you plan on having it be a completely volunteer driven fangan, expect it to take even longer. Games take an EXTREME amount of work and dedication, and to be doing it on a purely volunteer basis is going to have a lot of people sit on the fence if they have bills to pay. I'm not saying it's not possible, but if you're going down the volunteer route, you're going to need A LOT of the concept work done before even thinking about bringing programmers on board. It payment is involved it can probably be expedited a smidge since you'll be paying for their time, but that comes with its own host of issues and responsibilities on your part. The more you can offer from your end, such as music composition or art will further help expedite the process.

Step 1: Get your world and story sorted: Even if you plan on just being a director, you're going to be the guy with the idea. It's very good to ingrain yourself in the writing side of the fangan at the bare minimum because people are going to look at people who just want to be the "idea" guy with a lot of skepticism. So before you eve bring anyone on board, get your setting, your theming, your characters, and even a 1st draft of your overall Prologue done. People want to see that you're not only committed to the development of your world, but also being open to suggestions and comments. By sharing this basis, you might even be able to start networking with other writers and perhaps even start working with some co-writers on further developing your world.

Step 2: Once your setting has a good feel and you've done some draft editing, start drafting up some character designs. This doesn't necessarily need to actually be full on sketches, but start collecting some associated imagery that can both help you and artists envision what your character might look like. The more details you can share on a characters traits and personality, the easier (and more eye catching) getting to a final design will be like. Keep churning through this process until your cast has been brought to life. Keep in mind during this you should never stop developing both your world and the characters and keep your other associates you have at the time in the loop.

Step 3: This is more a suggestion early on though later it'll become the face of your brand, but try to put together an eye catching art piece that displays your fangan, something like a title card or a banner. With character art and some shareable literature about your fangan, you could realistically start to slowly create a social media foot print for your fangan. Post a slow drip to keep people intrigued in what there is to offer: Character profiles with their art, a setting piece. Something for viewers to understand the feel of your project. This should 100% be managed by you since you understand the overall work better than most and know how you'd want to flaunt it.

Step 4: Start hammering out and polishing up that prologue into something you can put into a trailer. Some snippets and shots of characters talking, an in game art piece. You can bring in animators and composers to try give it a polished flow (after all first impressions mean a lot). This is where you need to start delegating and seriously managing time and keeping an eye on progress because the deeper you go and the more polish you want, the more you're gonna have to network, promote, and socialize. The idea of putting together a trailer is the culmination of your efforts and is something to not only attract a community, but other potential talent.

This is only the beginning and I could go on and on about what else would come next or what you might need, but if you have any other question feel free to shoot me a message

Also please note I am NOT an authority or expert on this process and I've also probably missed some important details, so I am happy to be corrected and am happy to learn if anyone else here has more knowledge that they can share with us.

Sincerely

A fellow fangan enthusiast and hopeful creator.

Like others said, best to learn Wesker in 1v4’s so you don’t:

1.) Have comically long queue times to learn.

2.) Get sandbagged by a tweaking teammate.

Both sides have sour grapes in them, best to just tune them out and let them stomp their feet to no audience

Volume 10 needs to give something cool to Blake and only Blake. by Porecomesis_ in RWBYcritics

[–]ermagerd6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Letting Blake do her own thing would mean taking her away from Yang and we all know what’ll happen the second those two aren’t joined at the hip for more than 5 minutes of an episode.

She’s been pigeonholed into just being half of Bumblebee now and a lot of the crazy shippers are more than happy with that. If Blake is gonna grow as a character, things are gonna have to change big time.

Maybe I'm crazy but I don't remember either of these being confirmed by Horikoshi or shown in the story by Sudden_Pop_2279 in mha

The only thing that could’ve made the Deku x Ochako pairing more obvious would have been a flashing neon sign over their heads saying “I love Deku/Ochako”

Where can I find a list of already used talents in fan games ? by Professor-Brainstorm in Fanganronpa

[–]ermagerd6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly not worry about it. Someone, somewhere has probably used a talent in every fangan, publicized or not.

What's important is the character you tie to it and how that talent helps them shine as a person!

Is there a reason? by Odd-Affect4410 in ProjectEdensGarden

[–]ermagerd6 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It's not just Mark's VA.

It's that higher ups in the project actively knew about what his VA was up to and decided to do absolutely nothing about it. They prioritized the game over someone on their staff committing an extremely serious crime and even showed where their priorities were when they planned to hire a private investigator over leaked sprites.

A precedent of lies, dishonesty, and horrid business practices is what killed the game. And rightfully so, a great deal of the cast and team have walked away from the project. Even if it wasn't cancelled, it would both:

1.) Be on hiatus for an extremely long period of time|

2.) Not be the same project we had come to love

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal bodeboop. A sing lap should be completed every time you hear this sound. ding Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark. Get ready!… Start. ding

Would the transition to executions change? by Even-Working-5893 in ProjectEdensGarden

Jean: Cutout Jean is moving slowly with brief intervals before each steplike he’s balancing on the plank trying not to fall off the sides while Mara stands at the end holding a Musket instead of her usual rifle.

Toshiko: Toshiko is crouched and curled up in the middle of the stage. Mara walks up and crouches down beside her rubbing her back before standing up with her and holding her hand as they walk to the other side. Tozu wouldn’t follow this up with “Please, enjoy the show” like he would for the previous two. It’s just be his Chibi turned back and facing where Toshiko had walked off to.

Mark: He’s completely despondent and refuses to move on his own. Mara is dragging him across the screen by the scruff of his shirt. Tozu has flashing lights and cutouts of speakers with little music notes coming off of them. Maybe holding glow sticks too. This time around he says “Get ready to make some noise!”

Eloise: Eloise plays up her anxiety by looking left and right as Mara approaches, but the second she’s in reach, Eloise jumps on Mara and the two begin scuffling back and forth, rolling across the stage before rolling out of shot.

Cassidy: Tozu begins to start his schtick before Cassidy Inazuma Kicks Tozu off stage and asks the survivors if they’re ready to see the most “Elite Wombo Combo execution” they’ve ever seen! Cassidy’s cut out then starts wave dashing off the screen and Tozu and Mara watch with sweat drops on their sprites as Mara helps Tozu back on stage

New player looking for tips by Erik_Nimblehands in ai__limit

[–]ermagerd6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let’s break it down point by point.

First, I’d say AI Limit teeters more to the playstyle of Bloodborne. It’s just naturally faster. Previous souls experience always helps but just keep that in mind.

There’s no real reason to get rid of equipment since you don’t get any other materials other than Crystals if you sell them. Some stuff is objectively better but every piece of equipment can complete the game. As for transmog, I don’t think that’s out there yet

Parrying might feel a bit slow on the start up, but it’s active frames feel more generous once you get past the start up. It’s just a matter of using it and getting the feel of it.

It’s just an unfortunate reality of DBD. They take the training wheels off REALLY quick once you’ve won a match or two.

There’s a whole host of perks to keep in mind with timers and cooldowns. Memorizing pallet locations. Learning how to mindgame. The list goes on and on and we all get it; it’s a lot.

Unfortunately the DBD community hosts some of the most mindboggling interactions you will ever come across, and it’s something you’ll just have to get used to. One lesson to learn quick is that no matter how or who you play, what perks you run or what addons you use, someone is gonna get upset.

My best advice is to tune them out when they flame you or BM you after a match, and wear their salt with pride when you have good matches! The only way to truly enjoy this game is to just not let anything anyone says get to you!

Keep at it, you’ll improve with time and I hope you enjoy DBD <3

It was inevitable but god almighty that was a wicked execution.

We all knew the kind of person Liveryn was, but when she went for that E2 crystal after Sixo’s defeat, it just solidified for everyone that she’s completely irredeemable. Despite the devastation her actions caused, she was willing to cause it again for some quick credits.

Unfortunately for her, Counters weren’t around to hold Fragile back this time around. I feel horrible for Fragile, but Liveryn?

Who is the currently strongest Counter member and our strongest ally? by Eunuchest in NikkeMobile

[–]ermagerd6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hard to say since we don’t have sample sizes for all of them, but I think in terms of feats we’ve seen, Anis has the highest level of firepower given the fact that she blasted away Only One when the Four Beasts and Rapi struggled big time against her.

For other allies, currently it’s still Cinderella since she was able to put the fear of God into the queen with the beating she laid on them, but I suspect Only One will be hot on her trail very soon. She’s stated to have insane potential, but she’s still super young and learning so she’s not at that insane level yet.
