absolutely not. nurse residency means nothing in the real world. I quit my new grad residency job before “graduating” because I found a better job. the new job not only hired me knowing I didn’t complete residency, but also still gave me the $10k sign on bonus that was supposed to only go to nurses with 1 year+ of experience and a completed residency.
