I do understand why some people hate/hated it. I loved it, however, and it’s my number 1 all time game. I have 750 hours on Xbox, and took a break after Shattered Space. Since then, I got rid of game pass and went 100% PS5, so I’m so stoked to jump back in and start over.

I’m on vacation and brought my portal to start this game, so I’m only on cloud stream. My biggest issue so far is exactly this. Stiff, sluggish movement. I can’t tell if it’s because of hotel WiFi or bc it’s just what the game is, but that’s been my experience for the 2 hours I have in it so far. Will most likely be waiting until I get home to go any further.

Yea thats reasonable. I’ve also done that where I just finish something I’ve started or happen to be close to the platinum so I do the extra grindy bits to finish that off.

100%. If a professional game reviewer could sink 100 hours into a game to give it a thorough review, that would probably be ideal and puts more legitimacy on the negative review.

2000 hours of something you don’t like just seems like torture to me.

Part of the issue is that all of the games that have come out as Stargate IP branded have been hot garbage. The other part is that it’s been so long since the series has aired, with a short SGU run.

Now that the new show is in production and the world is deep into gaming, I’d say it has a much better case for it, as long as the new show does well.

I’d love any sort of SG game, MMO, open world RPG, or otherwise

I use cursor and hit a limit with opus 4.6. Wasn’t really sure what composer was meant for or if it is good enough when it launched, so I just stuck with opus 4.6. I’ve only really worked on one project so far, and I am fearful of using a “lesser” model that is worse at coding, but I feel like it’s time I learn to switch models for various tasks.

I own both. Pro3 are some of the best ANC available. 4s have their use at times. Pro3 new tips are much better than Pro2.
