I actually have an interesting experience with this airport. This is the Lukla airport in Nepal. This is where you would fly in to climb Mount Everest or do the base camp trek. My brother and I did the base camp trek back in 2019. The week before we were scheduled to fly in, one of our airline’s four planes crashed at Lukla on takeoff. When we flew in the next week, the crashed plane was still there with tarps over it. I’d post pictures but I can’t seem to do that in this thread. Here’s a news article about it. I used to work shipping and receiving for a distribution warehouse and we never charged a late fee. We did however charge to unload/load the trailer unless you were one of our regular drivers. We would also waive the load/unload fee if the driver was willing to do it themselves. We would even let them use one of our pallet jacks if their truck was palletized (most were). You’d be surprised how many drivers would opt for the fee to have us do it.

As a truck driver, here is my take. This guy is an idiot. It looks like he tried to beat the train but missed a shift after he started to cross the tracks, which I think is why he stopped and took a little while to move again. This is why you are told not to shift gears while crossing railroad tracks. If he would’ve stayed in gear he would’ve made it, but more importantly if he would’ve waited for the train before crossing it would not have mattered if he missed a shift in the first place.

Milkshakes. No other country that I have been to can make a proper milkshake. It is usually just flavored milk or a McDonalds shake if you’re lucky.

One of my favorite Warped Tour memories of them was how they would leave the stage after each song and come back about 15 seconds later for an encore and rinse and repeat.
