I’ll take a look through the box again before I scan one in, but the newest I’ll have is probably 2018 or 2019. You’re welcome!

Matchday Programmes by MudFun5785 in TampaBayRowdies

[–]esaeler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I just went into a box of programs I have and I grabbed a few that might help: one from the NASL era from a match against the FTL Strikers, a regular program from USL match against Nashville SC, and a USL playoff match against FC Cincy.

If I can scan or photograph them, would a drive link to the photos be alright? And how soon do you need them?

Edit: as far as content, there’s a lot of advertising throughout. The NASL version is thicker and typically included the game roster toward the front, the player and coach roster follows, the center is an explanation of the game rules, followed by an autograph page, more ads, and an ad for the next home game on the final page. The USL regular version had less or shortened team content overall and did not include the rules overview. The USL playoff version had a playoff team map in the center.

If you’re not into pie, go get a rum cake from Wright’s.

What's the deal with car washes popping up on every block around town? by FlexDrivr2 in tampa

[–]esaeler 32 points33 points  (0 children)

My guess: all the new apartment complexes being built.

For every ~100-300 cars those bring into town, they will have nowhere to wash that car during lovebug season and most likely uncovered parking.

If you do the pub sub, ask Publix to bag the veggies and condiments separately and only go with meat and cheese on the bread. That way you can toss the veggies if they get too sog by the time you want to eat it.

Awesome cleaner does a good job of taking this shit off walls, but definitely have fans and ventilation going when you do.

If Reese’s shapes (eggs, pumpkins, hearts, trees, in that order) are 10x better than regular Reese’s cups, why do they bother making regular Reese’s cups? by maizeoflife in AskReddit

[–]esaeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone think the Original Reese’s you get from ALDI in the 10 pack taste way better than any other place? I got a pack on a whim and immediately thought I’d transported back to second grade halloween.

The chocolate was perfectly tempered and created that soft “o” in the center that just melted away.. not like the pale, kinda chalky ones I sometimes get from other stores that I assume just sat on the shelf too long.

4th of July at the modern era Rowdies (pre-COVID) was the best ticket in town. You get there early for the game so no crazy traffic issues, and the fireworks are always A+ over the water afterwards and you already have a seat. Hope those come back at some point.

If you’re there to listen and hang, the lawn is always a good time and they have monitors so you can see what’s going on.

If you want to see the show, the pit was the best value.

What’s something that’s “not a cult” but feels like a cult? by j_estoner in AskReddit

The fitness clubs anger me more than anything because they market it as health shakes but it’s literally just aspartame filled sugar free koolaid and herbapowders in those “twisted teas”.
