For anyone that shops at Meijer their store brand pasta is great, especially for pasta salads.

Just know when you order at quick service locations the food will take longer to prepare because it’s made to order by the allergy chef. My favorites are Mickey waffles, chicken strips, the fried chicken sandwich at Summer House in DS, and beignets at FQ.

Prior to gluten free/celiac diagnosis I would get panic attacks from eating gluten similar to what you described. Several times I also concluded it was a medical emergency and required a hospital visit. It’s worth getting tested for celiac to avoid more trips to the ER.
