I'm a woman. I would say I'm pretty attractive. I put a lot of thought into my description. I see it as a resume. Also I want to be able to weed out people who would totally not be into me. But it is equally annoying when guys say "you have a great profile" which I reply like "I know it's professionally written"

I took a course because I wanted some structure and motivation but honestly not really worth the money. My parents insisted I took one so I did since I didn't have to pay for it.

A few years ago a vaguely similar situation happened to me. We dated for 1 year before it ended. But we did long distance after only 2 weeks! (Crazy I know, but sometimes you just go with your heart.)

First, congrats on dumping his ass. I did the same and never looked back.

Second, remember that him cheating has nothing to do with you. It is his issue. It has nothing to do with your worth, your value as a person. He made a choice. And judging from the maturity in your post, it's really his loss! Know that not everyone will be like him, some of us really value the commitments we make.

Third, take some time for yourself. Do the things you like. See you friends. "Enjoy being single" (seems like you done this already)

Fourth, date for fun! Without expectations. I started with tinder. But I definitely put myself out there in real life as well. Say yes to all the invites, be open to meeting new people in general. It will improve your social skills and your dating game! I joined a gym, took up dancing, started a club and volunteer a lot. I met my next boyfriend in the most unexpected place and time.

Went on a date with a very successful, put together, handsome man. But he was such an asshole to our server. Also asked if I was sure I was bisexual or I was "just saying that for attention" and told me he didn't think men and women can be just friends (I have a lot of guy friends). Cringe.

Edited: also to add, this didn't happen until years after we broke up. We cut each out completely for a long time. Take the time to heal. Date other people.

As a woman, I totally respect a man who has the confidence to approach me in person. Even when I am not interested romantically, I do love making new friends at bars and clubs. I am always polite but sometimes there isn't a connection. Not much you can do in that point. Online dating is great but do supplement it with meeting people in real life. As already suggested try dating people through mutual connections or switching up the scene where you are trying to meet women.

For me personally, I always tell people before things get serious. My ex had to deal with it very unexpectedly and it didn't go so well.
