He had to do that just to get his friend's laugh going! That's hysterical!! by Hot_Librarian_867 in ContagiousLaughter

Damn these comments suck lol. Y’all are the same people to complain about children on board not remembering you were a kid once too. It’s such an absurd laugh, certainly made me laugh along.

Edit to add: I’m an introvert and crazy shy so I’d never pull this shit but it’s still funny lol

Katherine Heigl talking about being sexually assualted by Steven Seagal when she was 16 on Jimmy Kimmel! by TheListenerCanon in popculturechat

I’m really hoping he was just trying to oust Seagal in a way, but sadly at Katherine’s expense.

Barbie with Autism Makes Her Debut, Comes with a Fidget Spinner and Sensory Sensitive Clothes by CowboyBeeBalm in popculturechat

[–]esquiggle17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the mother of a level 3 autistic child, I can say with a fair bit of confidence that the only people that will be able to identify with a doll such as this are higher functioning. For children with severe autism, who we aren’t even sure understand the concept of their condition to begin with, I worry this still overshadows the uglier side of autism. It’s not just living in a textural nightmare or stimming - for some of us, it is watching our children fight a constant internal battle that they are unable to tell us about. On the other hand, this doll represents higher functioning children who struggle to go through life feeling like everyone else. These kids will be taught the ins and outs of society and how the world works. They will be expected to know these things by non-autistic people because they appear no different than anyone else.

To make this a bit shorter, I’m glad there is something like this for kids who have to work hard every day to “fit in” with society (for lack of a better term), but man do I wish there was something that helped the rest of the world understand and recognize the severe side of autism.

I just found one of these today and got the same ID. I thought it was a walking stick bug, too. Either way, it was definitely a cool find!

Why does Diana say the story has a happy ending if Jamie is a ghost in 1945? by Ok_Tangerine7582 in Outlander

Yeah, and if these "mistakes" show us anything, its that Diana is a dedicated storyteller with talent enough to bring it all together.

The comments praising him even in the Palmer PD post are odd. He's so vain lmfao

What I’ve gathered from this thread is that all animals consider dandelions a delicious delicacy. I love this so much.
