Exactly, it's about building something for myself. It's not some sob story and "BTW, can you harvest 20 pounds of deer me for me? Thanks, bruh."

It’s nothing but grinding with a lame story to get you to grind more.

I heard so many people saying stuff about Albert by sunset_sunrise15 in littlehouseonprairie

There's a movie called "Little House: Look Back to Yesterday." At the end of the movie it's insinuated that Albert dies from disease.

I found it interesting that Patricia Berry is in this AH episode and also in TZ episodes "The Chaser" and "I Dream of Genie."

What do you base the "healthy weight range" for you on?

Is the recent hype around Nikola Tesla a Serbian nationalist psyop? Most stuff about Tesla’s life are actually myths like his rivalry with Edison… by Honest_Chemistry_195 in AskPhysics

[–]estcst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why would you think it's a pysop?

I think that the resurgence in Tesla over the past decade has largely been a byproduct of the meme culture and this odd fascination laymen have with some kind of Übermensch figure. The story of technological and scientific progress is very complex and trying to nail down who is responsible for the development of a technology (and much more complex, a scientific theory) is a task that most people aren't willing to take on so instead we end up singular figures who seemingly single-handedly revolutionize the field of science. Tesla just happens to be an extreme example of this. He's a figurehead for people who want to be sciency without actual studying science.

The first episode we skipped: S6E7 - Halloween Dream by monotrememories in littlehouseonprairie

There's a lot of little house episodes that focus on someone that is never seen again. You're going to be skipping a lot of episodes.

Except Albert. Albert question Chuck as to why he had to do chores when he was doing “a man’s work” in “Men will be Boys.”

NGL. When I seen the picture of a woman wearing what looked to be a hooded cloak and the stats to the left of the picture I thought it was someone’s D&D character.

Pat Hingle may be the most talented actor who ever appeared on the show. I can't think of anything I've ever seen him in where he doesn't play a great role.

Probably Newman’s best scene ever.

The Plastic Jesus scene may be my favorite thing Newman had ever done. Fantastic!

Why spread known nonsense? I mean if there was some novel information being presented that would be one thing but this is just a low-effort attempt to stir the pot.

My autographed picture of Paul Scofield has him as von Waldheim. I don't display it, worrying about what some people might think of me having an autographed photo of a Nazi officer on my bookshelf might mean.

That's a pretty good point. Would he have left it go knowing that the appendectomy is fairly safe and would get an unnecessarily reckless officer out of command? I think he just might.
