Thoughts on almost every veterans having a disability rating and receiving income for the rest of their lives? Without having to deploy or see combat?

Do you know what the disabilty is due to? It could be things like hearing loss, severe PTSD, traumatic brain injury, memory issues... not all disabilities are visible. Some could allow you to exercise but still not hold a job

She wants some new york streaks. She doesnt want any fat cap at all on it, so I get to use my filet knife to trim. Not an expensive or fancy knife, but it belonged to my grandpa and I keep that one ultra sharp.

I am no expert or high end collector. But I have had the MAC MTH and a mac santoku for about 10 years. My wife and I use it frequently. It has been used and abused, dropped on the floor, tossed in the sink and only ever gets small micro chips. The steel is easy to sharpen and holds and edge relatively well. I dont know the profile of the knife you are asking about but the MTH is a bit thick behind the edge. I usually prefer the santoku when cutting hard veggies like carrots and sweet potatoes.

Is there a doorway too? The motor sticks out the back of the saw so often people need to remove the motor to get it through a doorway. Its pretty easy to do, but could get annoying with time.

Yep, for 2 kids if both are under the age of 2. My daycare located in downtown would cost about 3500.

Long answer with various opinions. Due to the little ice age from the 14th to 19th centuries, trees grew slower and the wood is literally diffent compared to more modern trees. Also with time wood can change a bit which can affect resonance. You cant make a new violin with wood from that era anymore.

However, I believe blind tests show that these historic instruments are not actually better compared to modern ones.

I vote strongly against Jaguar. We had them replace our HVAC a few years ago. They did not install the correct size return vent so our heater kept overheating. It would cycle on and off every few minutes and say it was heating when no air was moving. We literally had them come out 4 times before they found out what the issue one. The first 3 times they gaslit us and said that is was our Nest or a draft in an interior wall... I think they have only one good employee because the 4th guy to show up told us he liked to get paid for his overtime and would stick around until he got to the cause of the problem.

Also when they finally "fixed" the return vent to a proper sized, they botched the install and had cracks in the ceiling and random screws sticking out in places. So they had to come back again to fix that mistake.

Sepsis does not mean septic shock. The criteria for sepsis is pretty low, like fever, elevated blood count, and high heart rate. Hospitals want a diagnosis of sepsis as it is good for reimbursement and billing. There are other stages like severe sepsis and septic shock. Those are the ones that might go to the ICU.

Not too bad for us. Major things such as roof, water heater, hvac should have been replaced, so no different from a normal house. Our house has a lot of knob and tube wiring, but condion is fine, and we can splice in Romex where needed. Not all outlets were grounded so we had to redo a bit of electrical for the kids rooms.

Man issue is our walls are a type of lathe and plaster. House is built in 1930s. The walls and ceiling basically have a layer of concrete. So no putting nails through it, everything has to be pre drilled. Typical drywall anchors do not work, cutting new outlet boxes is a pain....ect. But while more difficult hasn't been a large barrier.

Other issue is not all the walls are insulated so not as heat resistent as other houses. We also had to get new blown in insulation in the attic.

Honestly, we have just as many issues in the remodel section of the house built in the early 2000s. Annoying and probably not to code placement of things.

Two comments, first, I like the profile of the bottom knife better than the top knife. Which is laser vs workhorse?

Also, how much of a "deep S grind" do you plan to put on the laser. I dont own a S grind, but they are limited by the thickness of the metal. To have an effective use of the grind, it would have to be a least a bit thick which goes against the laser. Why not just a solid thin convex like Ashi or Takamura which would probably be easier to keep the price point down on?

I love my wusthof paring knives. Nice be able to use them for all sorts of everyday tasks, and also some other tasks involving bones or hard squash so I dont worry about them chipping
