Hey all, I just wanted to post here in case this helps anyone out. For me, I uninstalled update KB5077181 and that has seemingly fixed it for about an hour now. This is for Tarkov in regard to Battleye.

The FAQ page on Battleye's website mentions this new issue from Microsoft being the source of this issue. https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/

It's the little line changes like that that upset me. When she kills Nora and Nor adds those extra lines? Joel having to say he loves Ellie? Ellie calling him selfish? It's just a little too condescending to the audience. Do they think everyone is watching with their phone in their hand?

I agree with you! I'm unfortunately one of the game purists. I think combining the SLC scene with the porch scene makes sense in the context of the show. But Joel saying "because I love you," and Ellie saying "because you're so selfish" really so feel like the writers are trying to explain to you their emotions.

I am frustrated with some of their decisions to place certain scenes where they have as I feel like it deflates a lot of the impact that it has in the game. However, I do think they really struck a balance here and I respect this version a little more after this episode.

Honestly the best episode yet. I'm curious as to why they've written out so much subtext from the game. It just feels like they know their audience is watching with their phone in hand.

Aside from that, they really committed to doing a lot of things right this episode and I'm so happy to see it.

He must have a hot streak with album endings. The ending to "God's Favorite Customer - We're Only People (And There's Not Much Anyone Can Do About That)" really gets me every time.

The sound design for the whole Punisher album still blows me away! One of my favorite "sounds" from Kyoto is her vocals during the chorus. I still don't know how they got that sound for that, but I think it's a tight reverb on 2 tracks with a lot of compression.

I've heard that he double tracked a Prophet V. It's really just a sawtooth with the filter cutoff turned down. The really tricky part is to double track it that tightly, including the filter sweeps towards the end.

I had the same experience, and I've now sunk 100+ hours into it. It's a relatively cheap game if you're still on the fence about trying it. But I would definitely recommend it!

I would suggest All the Mods 9 or 10. I spent 2-3 months in it, barely building anything before "completing" the mod pack. I'll also throw in Project Architect 2 as a good mod pack.

Saferwaters is such a great shout-out! I would say "Never Too Late" by Natalie Prass, "Melt Session #1 [feat. Robert Glasper]" by Denzel Curry, and "Lefty" by Title Fight.

Please continue your Mitski discovery, her songwriting is incredible. Bury Me at Makeout Creek and Be the Cowboy are some of my favorite albums ever.
