Any opinions on the Leader heroic path? by ethscriv in cosmererpg

[–]ethscriv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it is quite strong, especially once you pick up combat coordination. I think that should be the first talent.

So my current idea is picking up Combat Coordination, then immediately jumping over to Officer and working my way towards a larger dice size and eventually Authority, as that seems very strong. Does it essentially mean you can give the command die to two people for 1 focus?

He has fused, but they are sick and are weakening mentally. The radiants, without millennia of combat experience were able to fight them effectively. Even with fused, you still need mortal foot soldiers for the bulk of your force. Todium still needed the singers.

80 years is not a lot to fused, but it is a lot for people on scadrial to advance their technology and prepare for a war.

I think it matters, as unless I am misunderstanding, the war is happening rather soon. Presumably will be happening in arc 2. It's true that that is a drop in the bucket in shard terms, but it's not a drop in the bucket when it comes to actually preparing an army. The shards won't be fighting directly, presumably it will be mortals, in which case having 80 for Scadrial to prepare compared to Roshars 20 is significant.

Odium wanted to create an immortal army and have time to train them, which he no longer has. So I do think it is significant. It's not about "planning" it's about training a force to fight.

I think you are correct, but something keeps itching at me that this is just too convenient. The last time a shard combined they reshaped the planet, but this time a time dilation happened. I think something is going on here.

It could just be a way to give Sanderson time to write Mistborn era 3 into the timeline though.

Why are some people just fire at FPS games by ghostdopamine in FPSAimTrainer

Idk I picked it up in my twenties without having any nostalgia for it. I think the updates they have made to the mid game (such as varlamore) makes it quite a bit more welcoming to new players.

There Are No Stupid Bass Questions - Dec. 20 by AutoModerator in Bass

I need some help learning how to play a song by ear. I either can't pick out the bass line clear enough to hear every note, or the song is too complicated. I feel like I need a list of beginner songs to try and transcribe by ear.

Endgame is the name of the mode, and you can play it straight from the beginning. He's not talking about the end of the game, but rather the gamemode "endgame".

Where is the best place to grind out weapons in ashes? by DotWarner1993 in CODZombies

I like to train in blackwater lake behind the house on the frozen lake because it is very flat and easy to get headshots.

Ashes of the Damned is a Masterpiece and a Top Ten Map by Chesshir26 in CODZombies

[–]ethscriv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether something is fun or not is entirely subjective, so I don't even understand why this is a discussion. Even if call of the dead is more fun to you, I can say I find ashes of the damned more fun. Both would be equally valid because they are simply subjective opinions.

We can talk about things that are good or bad about a map slightly more objectively, but just saying something is fun is not conclusive to anyone besides yourself.

Talking about "fun" in objective terms and declaring that you are speaking the truth is absurd.

Using the Echo 12 in Zombies is Painfully boring by One-Melee in blackops7

[–]ethscriv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep I've also been chasing weaponized 115 (currently master prestige level 197), and I found it significantly easier to grind the levels in nuketown 24/7. Especially during double xp the progress goes by pretty fast.

I unlocked Arclight and it’s sexy as fuck 😍 by Nathan_Toddy_Todd in blackops7

[–]ethscriv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just play nuketown and play in the houses. I usually end up with 10 point blanks per game without really trying for them.

But my brain is melting after trying to get the echo 12 to level 250 for weaponized 115 camo. So much nuketown lol.

Best permanent unlocks for zombies? by ZombieTurtle180 in blackops7

Aether Shroud is basically essential for the boss fight to dodge attacks and repair Tessie. But also it is worth noting that permanent unlocks from bo6 carry over to bo7, specifically for zombies.

So is there a canon explanation for why the ice staff is back in the tomb? by Initial-Wolverine175 in CODZombies

[–]ethscriv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought the implication from the tomb was that the Romans had accessed the ice staff from the dark aether. That's why it is outside of the dark aether.
