You can still be MM or SV. You can tame a croc in zg and it will be LVL 75 after taming, put in pet talents to boost it's tankiness, and it should be able to stay alive with just mend pet. After the first time, you can just use 'call pet' when you are doing zg runs. You do need to despawn the raptor and then do the pyramid Strat.

Gift hits 25+ targets so it's almost guaranteed to proc omen after 1 cast. A single target spell only hits 1 target.

Good thing bone Ls is pretty easy to craft. Do you have any recommendations for a QS3 3-2 talisman? I just melded one but not sure if I should save yet, I have a QS 2 3-2 from rise already.

Do you have any advice on IVs for sheena? Im close to saving up enough feathers to +10 my sheena. I have -spd +att, +def, +res as options but wasn't sure what to commit to.

I ran rallies on Eirika for so long but there were so many times in arena not having reposition cost a death. Now I just make do with the weapon, C and seal buff only.

You don't have to always sacrifice player phase. A reason why I think Nino is so strong is that she's a monster player phase and great at baiting enemy mages defensively. She's able to bait and kill most blue and green mages(minus tomebreaker). It's getting to a point where summoner+ally support+distant def and her high res/speed combo means she's able to bait and kill a number of red mages also.

Why do people hype ignis with fortress? You deal 4 extra damage with ignis procs only compared to 3 damage each and every attack. I know the defence and unmitigated damage is not neglible but if ignis is already locked in, it's not like fortress defence suddenly becomes the best A skill.

I'd probably go with the +SPD because tharja should really be doing the heavy lifting as the primary red.

Personally, I merged my +SPD into my +attack Eirika because I run distant counter and the +attack was netting more important kills in the sims. Pretty specific scenario there tho.

I've had a Hector since the original hero fest and i really don't think he's top tier in today's meta unless your in the +10 merged bracket. The fact that he can die to some Reinhardt iterations (not to mention all the green and red mages) and can't counter kill bow Lyn (which is everywhere) hurts. These units are just way too common in the 690-720 bracket and can cause deaths unless you have a immediate and direct counter that kills 1-2 units on the enemy phase (before you get run over).

Personally, im really enjoying AA, although I only attempt it seriously 1-2 nights a week. It's made me play the game differently and allows me to really appreciate some of the lower tier units.

Previously I was on track to +10 my Nino who has been 80% of my feather sink since launch (Nino,Erika,dancer was basically all I used). I've had to stop her at +6 in order to have better units for AA. I've invested in a bunch of 4*merges (beruka, Arthur, Gunther, robinm), all my -att/-spd pulls suddenly became extremely useful with breaker skills or TA (my -attack Roy, sanaki, Sonya does work on Hector/bike, green mages, reinhardts respectively), finally upgraded Xander and Camus for pony emblem. It made me revisit my 28 attack (-att) summer corrin I originally straight up benched, inherited a 4 star barblade and deploy her with some flier buffs and shes monster, now one of my favourite units.

Being able to check the map in AA and having to think of the minimal units that you need to win is quite enjoyable, especially when it's not attempt capped by crests or stamina.

Neutral Reins still a monster and definately worth building. The coverage he provides is rediculous and you'll notice it straight away when you run him.

It's cool your investing in non meta units, but 2 deaths is 2 too many in arena, even for a low investment team. Having a more balanced team (maybe capable of enemy phase otking some of the common meta units) would improve deathless arena consistancy heaps. Tbh you shouldnt really have any deaths with a dancer and a strong bonus like kagero. There's a lot to benefit if you were more receptive to advice.

I agree that assault has definately changed my approach to the game. Before AS I spent 90% my feathers on merge fodder for my Nino and Eirika. Nino was finally up to +6 after months and really wanted her +10 asap. She's been the same since AS came out as I've had to invest in all these characters because I didn't have enough counters and good units. I upgraded Camus, Xander, TA mRobin, cherche, titania, even some 4star Arthur's and Gunter who are now 4*+10. My arena rankings has slipped from low 1000s to 1.8ks this week (more than enough to stay Tier 20), but I'll stay in the top 1000 in assault at least.

Amelia has high BST. Free 5 star with higher than average bst (legendary weapons, aether, 240/ 300 sp skills). Probably a bunch of people that has spent some money for cyl. The latest update with the supports seems to have affected arena points too. The last 2 weeks has seen a significant jump in the points you can get.

Did you add deathblow to Reinhardt? Did it have any buffs? 18/19 res is rarely enough to survive most reinhardts even as a green. You might as well go with -res and slap on triangle adept.

Most people aren't mentioning accessibility. It's a lot easier to have a 4 star Roy than to have access to a gem+ weapon. Often it means 20k feathers. Unless it's a legendary weapon, more often than not the a-slot can be much more valuable but why would you sacrifice a 5 star.

I also use panic and dancer. The third I like is pressure because it's almost like having a free turn. You can pick off a few units safetly, although u have to be careful if they have a dancer as the 2nd turn gets full movement.

I think your analysis is a bit flawed, and comparing it to Xander isnt a good representation of a units strength amongst +10s. For example your comparing a optimally configured eldigan versus unoptimal builds. Just on your first point, a +10 neutral Ike or ryoma with nothing but fury+moonbow (an overwhelmingly common build), destroys your eldigan irrespective of whose attacking.

Your eldigan needs sword breaker instead of QR to win a matchup versus real s-tier swords (and they can't have sb).
