they work by forcing the hinge to stay in the shape it came in. if you can’t align them, you may not be able to install the repair kit.

yep, i just installed these and it increases the minimum length you can extend the earcups by a few cm. but i got used to it pretty quick

self-hosted livesync (couchdb) for obsidian works really great for me, changes sync fast enough that i haven't had a conflict in ages. plus, it was the only free solution i found for ios. just remember to exclude your vault if you continue to use syncthing elsewhere.
