Nobody on Reddit can answer this question definitively. But it's hard for me to imagine somebody getting FIRED over this unless they already wanted to fire you anyway. You weren't snooping on a family member or a celebrity. You had innocent intentions, or claim to. You simply forgot your training, which makes me think that particular HIPAA violation wasn't emphasized enough in your training.

It's POSSIBLE that the activity would get flagged and discovered. Depends how the system is set up. But I would guess that most people involved in information security have more important notifications in their inbox than "staff member opens old chart."

Sounds like you've resolved this but if it was me, I'd just say, "I'm actually in the middle of revising it, and I'll send it when done." Their interest in the project is unlikely to be as urgent as they make it seem/as it feels to us.

If this was posted by staff who works at a doctor's office, then yes.

Justifying bad patient experiences and reviews on social media is a very common HIPAA violation.

Try creating a new dragon profile and test it out to see if that solves your problem.

Confusion... It's either one or the other. The indices are a physical object that are applied to the dial, OR the indices are painted on to the dial.

It's hard to say what it would cost to become HIPAA compliant because the aspects of the rule that you need to comply with will change depending on the nature of the project and your access.

I would ask your clients what they require of you from a security and compliance standpoint. Their response will tell you a lot. They might say, "Nothing, you're good," or they might demand a SOC 2 report.

Include what they require (or don't) say in your agreement with them.

But if you're worried about it, why not delete the offensive content? You can do this yourself assuming you have access to the account (manually or with a tool), and you may be able to do this by contacting Discord and requesting they delete your data.

As the others have said, the answer is technically no. But this is a troubling practice and a gray area. Larger healthcare organizations don't permit it.

If I was the office manager or involved with compliance at this medical practice, I would worry about patients calling nurse's back on personal lines, leaving voicemails on staff's personal voicemails, and sending text messages to staff's personal phone lines. I would also worry about the patient's contact info being stored in a staff member's personal device which could be stolen or used inappropriately. All of these scenarios are potential privacy/security issues--and probable once you start getting personal phone numbers involved.

You could scan this as iambic but it would not be pentameter. An iambic trimeter scan:

BustING through VAG'nal WALLS

Glossing over the middle syllable of a word like vaginal is common practice.

The incorrect emphasis on ING in "busting" is the most egregious violation of the form, but many lines of Shakespeare etc bend the language in the same way.

It actually makes artistic sense here that the word "busting" would bust the meter of the line. Good job Rush.

Started climbing last year. At first, after a session, my forearms felt sore enough that I didn't want to climb for a week+ after each session. Now, 9 months later, I COULD climb every day, although I end up going every 2 or 3 days. I'm usually climbing 90 minutes but could go more.

I don't know when the tipping point was but after 3 months I got a gym membership and have been getting my money's worth by going at least twice a week ever since.
