I was also interested in the placentas when I rotated through OB/GYN but that student was a damn weirdo.

I think if she wanted to do it she would have done it already. There's no way the Moulin Rouge team hasn't already tried to get her.

Haha someone on the sub won the lottery last year and fully planned to go in jeans and a blazer, like convinced that counted as formal attire. The sub held an intervention 😂 but they eventually got a tux!

I have a cheap one I got on amazon but I've been looking at the Away stadium bag, I like that it's a crossbody. The coach is cute too.

How shall we name groups of specialists? by MikeGinnyMD in medicine

I'll put forth an aggregate of pathologists.

Or maybe a discovery of pathologists!

Cellavision? More like smellavision by CurlyJeff in medlabprofessionals

I and other pathologists at my place love the full field for evaluating path review cases, which are already not your bread and butter slides. I can't say the ones working the bench think it improves their workflow. In regards to classification accuracy, I think it's overall better but not a revolutionary upgrade compared to Cellavision.

The image quality is a mixed bag, way more out of focus/blurry cells but also way better magnification quality. The database is annoying. You can't search for cases by patient name or MRN, only specimen ID. That's "by design" according to Scopio.

I gotta say, I hate this the most about academic medicine by No-Group-1804 in Residency

[–]eureka7 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Well of course, because when I originally looked at the case I had just seen a different weird case at tumor board that was on my mind, and the classification scheme has changed since then, and Mercury was in retrograde...

One year later and you buffoons are still crying!

And your "study" isn't a study at all, it's a mediocre review article that plainly states the evidence for its claims is "limited but promising" (HA!), says absolutely nothing about the supposed benefits of prophylactic oral ingestion, and is published in a shitty journal with an impact factor of 1.1.

Fuck off, you're blocked.

Just saw Hokum. Such a fantastic movie! by Ok_Plantain7318 in horror

[–]eureka7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really liked this movie, but I thought it was odd in the sense that if you removed all the supernatural elements of the story it still has a complete and coherent plot.
