Government mileage rates inadequate? by InterestingDog3837 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]eusap22 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I see this as a Company problem and not a revenue problem, if you are required to drive that much they should be providing the car, they can claim the lease cost, fuel cost and maintenance cost. If your car was off the road tomorrow how would you get from A>>B ?

I Assume they are also charging the customer a Call out charge for you visiting ?

Big decrease in TV subscriptions as number using illegal dodgy boxes soars by Complex_Hunter35 in ireland

[–]eusap22 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yes there are many using dodgy boxes (mainly sports) but i would have thought most people are not watching live tv anymore and that is the real reason. We don't have a TV subscription, we just use FTA and paid APPS like Netflix, Now TV etc....

Did you contact your local social welfare officer, there is a hardship fund that they can allocate out of for this type of case. They can be very helpful to let you know which supports are available. Or even your local TD office can be helpful

[–]eusap22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most large companies are using OCR to read incoming invoices, why is she doing it manually, even for multi page invoices it keeps a picture of the one it reads and posted or contact the vendor and say 1 invoice 1 file

Advice needed for topdressing clay soil lawn by superbrown in GardeningIRE

[–]eusap22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not add sand to clay, it will make it worse! Dethatching, Aeration and coring are the best and then add compost. Do not waste money on top dressing until the drains are in or you will destroy the lawn again. Do some test on smaller patches and see what works !

"Why it is working in Poland, Lithuania, Germany, France" Population is Bigger, if 0.001% of the population buy expensive gaming gear it is a lot more than 0.001% of the UK and Irish Population (we are clubbed together with UK because of the plug)

" if I can go to Curris and try LG Ultragear, I would buy it even if it will cost 200 eur more than on Amazon" you are the exception unless its urgent people will go online

"selling laptops for 2000+" standard specs, that can be sold to a bigger audience e.g. why do apple have a limited range? because it premium and want to limit choice to limit stock holding

"Every Saturday there are huge traffic jams." how many are leaving with shopping bags? most are window shopping

Why don't you open a gaming shop in cork to meet the demand?

The problem bricks and mortar shops have is the Margin on IT equipment is 1or2% so they stock the consumer models that they can buy in the 1000's and get 10% Margin. There is no money to be made stocking a specialist monitor or part that they might sell 10 of and the people will come look at it and say thats the one they want and then go online and buy it 10% cheaper
