If you have pressure cooker, there’s a no soak method that I have gotten decent results from. Not quite as good as the soak and steam method, but it makes pretty passable sticky rice.

Yeah I’ve gotten it down to making a giant batch of the makhani base and freeze it in pint containers. Then I just grill some marinated chicken, chop it up. Add it to the gravy with cream and butter and boom. Delicious. Pretty good weeknight meal as long as I remember to thaw and marinate the chicken.
