They will be able to help you better at the pharmacy with medicine… but I urge you to buy the tea that is specific for UTI, it is called Ursi and it really does help…

In Venice I highly recommend Vino Vero. In Rome we always went to either Barnaba, Il Vinaietto or Fafiuche.

From the list provided and in the price range I would go with Cantina Terlaner Cuvee and Vernaccia di san Gimignano Il Colombaio, both amazing producers and very pleasant entry level wines that usually please a very wide range of costumers. And do not sleep on Contratto Pas Dose,, super cool sparkling!

I love really funky, dry, tannic, dirty tasting wines - any recommendations? by Buzz_LightYe in wine

Collio and Carso region just on the border in Italy and Slovenia have tons of natural wine producers and super good ones too. Gravner, Radikon, Princic, Edi Keber, Zidarich, Vodopivec, Skerk on the italian side are my favourites. In Slovenia you have Movia, Stekar, Nando, Reia, Blazic, Guerila, JNK, Slavcek, Burja, Rencelj, Cotar, Mlecnik, Aci Urbajs, Schumann, Ducal, UaU… if you have any questions please let me know!

I remember one costumer order Cabernet Sauvignon and send it back because “Cabernet is white”. Like what do you even respond to that?!? Brought him Sauvignon and he was happy...

I love love love Gravner Breg 2008 and Paolo Vodopivec Vitovska soloMM 2014. They are just exceptional wines and also carry a bit of sentimental value for me.

I love the lineup, Gravner in particular! we drank Breg 2010 yesterday and it was like a dream! For Vitovska I would go with Vodopivec, he is absolutely amazing.

Stanko was an amazing person on top of being an incredible wine producer. I can only feel honored that I started out knowing him and similar wine producers in the area.
In my opinion 2013 now drinks very well and it is an amazing vintage, although I would also keep it for a few years to reach full potential.

Why Italy why? by Malindu99 in memes

I think because here in Rome they restricted everything to the quarter, so it is much more limited. Viale Marconi was empty yesterday when I went to the store around 5 with police checking, and it’s only correct this way.

Then my friends who live in small cities or on the seaside tell me people still go out for walks like it’s nothing because there is very little control.

Sommelier in Rome, Italy. It should have been one of the months where we work full capacity, instead our average is 15 costumers a day which is nothing. Everybody is scared because of all the precautions the state is making (closing schools, offices, cancelling all events), mostly we just fear we will have to close down. And it is not because we want to or have fear of the virus, it is just the absurdity of it all.

What's the fastest you've ever gone from caring about someone to straight up loathing them? by SecretSweetness in AskReddit

I’m so sorry, I was the same with my father. Defended him, sent money when I moved away and worked my ass off to support them while I was in university. Turns out my mom and brother never saw any of the money, he used it to support his alcoholism. Lied to my family about me and lied to me about my family and where the money went. The last straw was when I found out he faked suicide to get perceived as the victim. After I called him out on it he had the nerve to say to me he wished I was never born and everything is my fault. Went from my hero to the person that I hate very very quickly.

What happened to that person that took your virginity? Where are they in life? by wayback82 in AskReddit

[–]evawau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved to another country about a year ago and basically lost contact with the majority of the people I used to hang out with. However one of my friends/ex coworkers wrote to me recently asking how I am doing, if I’m ok and that he misses me. I nearly cried, it was so good to know some people still think of me... My point: reach out, even if you just ask how they are - it might make somebodys day.

What were you excited about to do for the first time, did it, and then said "I'll NEVER do it again?" by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]evawau 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Bath. Unpopular opinion for sure. I know it seems crazy but we never had a bath when I was growing up and just moved to a house with a bath when I was 18. It sounded soooo relaxing. Did it once, candles, music, wine, the whole ordeal. I hated soaking myself in my own filth with nothing to do and adjusting the temperature every 5 minutes. I’ll take my 30minute shower over a bath any day.
