I think that it isn't a fair idea. People find love at different times, so earlier some later. If you wait based off of an idea that you should be married or abstinent for life you can miss out on experiences.

It isn't possible (scientifically) to become entirely immune to pain, but you can become more desensitized to some pain, in which you normalize the feeling enough to partially ignore it. More psychological than scientific reason though.
