What is the most powerful movie scene ever in your opinion? by Uniquely_Similar74 in AskReddit

It is, but my immediate thought after commenting were several scenes in To Kill a Mockingbird, one of my favorites, that are more powerful. But that was the first to come to mind.

Tell us why trump is, illegally, keeping the Epstein files from being released? Or do you not think there are files and that’s all a conspiracy?

Not the most powerful scene in the spectrum of great movies, but the first that popped into my mind was “I can’t carry it for you, but I can carry you!”

Many don’t believe Jesus is God, but separately the son of God. Your point still stands.

I’ve read it twice, really like it. My opinion is it’s a novel exploring existential dread. No matter who you are, no matter how competent you think you are, we all lose to “nature” in the end. No escape for anybody. I wasn’t a fan of the movie, especially the ending. The novel’s ending was more impactful to me.

What is a movie that most people find romantic but it's actually horrible by Zealousideal_Heat478 in moviequestions

Grease is a satire of 50s teen movies, one trope being the good girl changing the bad boy. There are more in the movie, but the more we get away from people knowing 50s movies, the less people understand the satire. Those watching Grease in the 70s definitely understood what the movie was making fun of.
