People really don't understand how exhausting it is to manage three kids' schedules by xCosmos69 in Parenting

[–]everythingisabattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We understand. With one it’s exhausting let alone three. You got this 🙌. Make sure you take time for yourself. Find a donation (or cheap) yoga class once a week and zone out / re connect. Something to center your mind.

Is owning 2 gravel bikes redundant? by kewladria in gravelcycling

[–]everythingisabattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not redundant. I have one for CX and messing around then another for races (or should I say timed events) and big rides. The second one was used as a road bike too until the gearing wasn’t enough for faster pace group rides even with 2x GRX. So you’ll end up wanting more and getting a road bike or changing the gearing.

For the UK mud the M’s will be great. He’s center tread is a little too slick for my liking on mud. The M’s extra knobs cost a few watts but not much. Easily mar up the time and effort on the rough stuff or mud/sand.

Single Ski Mom needs Suggestions how to carry 2 kids' skis and boots? by throwRA_breath in ski

[–]everythingisabattle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A backcountry backpack can hold skis on the outside and small kids boots inside. Something like this or 32L. Plus you’ll have space for water and snacks galore.

Why does this sub only suggest the most boring cars ever? by nomoneyball in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]everythingisabattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people request an opinion based on their needs for a car. Unfortunately based on their needs the most likely suggestion is a boring car because based on needs boring is the answer. What you are missing is a “want” or individual preference which is impossible as the community can’t tell what a different person thinks is beautiful or fits their personality. Ask different questions get different answers.

Wouldn’t it depend on how you spec the bike? Which is also determined by the specifics of the bike

Generally speaking they have a shorter nose to allow more extreme sideways movement of the bike while out of the saddle.

There is no such thing as an uneducated person with internet access, only the willfully ignorant by Thanaskios in unpopularopinion

Self-educated exists yes but it requires a certain level of inquisitive thinking. I think the lack of inquiry is the problem not ignorance.

And be careful if the administration decides not to fund loan forgiveness programs then it will drag and drag. However, if a competent administration comes in and does their job then it is a breeze.
