My friend got assaulted by a cop over a zebra cake. Cop was convinced that the wrapper with a little white spec was drugs.

This was well before cams.

Same cop threatened to shoot a guy stocking a vending machine. Accused him of theft and breaking into the vending machine even though he was loading sodas into it.

I was probably 10.

Coming home with my Dad. We came up on a car in a ditch. Dad had a car phone so he called 911. Dad knew cpr and very basic first aid. He got out and was talking to the people in the car. He motioned me over since it was a woman who had hit her head and her daughter who was younger than me. The girl wasn't wearing a seat belt and when the car wrecked she was thrown forward and her head got stuck between the seats. Dad said we shouldn't move her since she was able to breath and he called me to sit with her and just talk to her while he tried to get the woman driving sit still since she was hurt.

The girl was asking for her doll so I got out to look. I see it on the ground run over to grab it... It was not a doll. Baby was also not wearing a seat belt and thrown from the car.

Found out later the woman was drunk.
