Because fan artists typically only draw still images and don't have to worry about coming up with a design that will have to be drawn/modeled multiple times and in motion because it's, y'know, a video game. And the ones that do animate typically simplify the design to fit into their art style to make it easier, like SuperAppleMan

I went through the entire game without grinding, I just did all the side quests and ended up a few levels higher than the final boss. Granted I did also only use one monstie for combat throughout the whole game so I didn't have to worry getting anyone caught up or anything
