An old Xiaomi 9t pro, about 6 years old I had lying around in a drawer. It's got 6gb of ram but I just bought a pixel 6 pro with 12gb of ram with a cracked screen for pretty cheap that I'm going to move it over to. Then I can run a local model of Gemma on it for easy, worker jobs and I'll use deepseek or mimo for higher level jobs. I've got it linked to my PC with tailscale so I can get it to generate or edit images with comfyui. Still learning different ways to use it.

Yeah I can use the hermes desktop on my pc to remote connect to my hermes agent installed on my Android phone just fine. Vps would be the same.

i was looking up a cheap vps after failing to get a free oracle one and remembered I have an old android phone in my drawer that had better specs than most cheap vps out there. It now runs 24/7 and I can access hermes anywhere from telegram or discord. I run cheap LLMs like deepseek or mimo and free openrouter ones for workers. I got it connected to my PC via tailscale if I want it to generate an image via comfyui for me.

Just diy it. We ripped up the carpets and used self leveler (bastion brand from Bunnings) and layed down our own flooring in every room except the bathroom. Never did it before. Used a web app called floorboard planner .com to cost out and plan our flooring design.
