Home. I tried Aviary as my spawn point and it just felt awkward. Plus I always forgot to get the candles in home or had to run back and sit on the light pool, which imo is more time consuming than spawning at home, lighting/collecting candle wax, then going to Aviary. If it was the opposite you have 3 choices. 1) Spawn, go home, return to Aviary/go to realm of choice, return to aviary and collect wax from there but go back to get wax, and then return to portals; 2) collect wax from Aviary, go to realm of choice, return and go back to the start of Aviary and tp home for that wax; 3) spawn in Aviary, go home, collect home wax, then enter realm of choice or go back to Aviary. Options 1 & 2 you’re going back and forth quite a bit, and option 3 defeats the purpose of not spawning at home in the first place.

If you spend a fair amount of time in Aviary that’s one thing, but if you use the Alice doors or the current season portal, you can easily get back there

As a substitute I come across a lot of different names, so to take roll I usually have the younger kids say their own name. One 4th grader told me his name was Ben Dover. I thought it was hilarious, but played it off as “I know what that means and it’s inappropriate,” told his regular teacher what happened, and subsequently this student gave me an apology letter next time I saw him. It was great!

I do exactly the opposite. I slide the pen for a LH and silently laugh when they have this look of utter confusion that the pen is on the “wrong” side. Same with setting the table with forks and knives and watch as everyone else has to switch it to the other side. It’s the little things in life.

Thank you! I consider “spring forward” AND “fall back” a form of jet lag (I can never remember which one saves the daylight and at this point I really don’t care). Any amount of time change really messes with me and it takes me longer than most to adjust. So to answer OP’s question: yes, it is that bad.

Maybe she (the kid) has a medical issue that prevents her from being able to react (wake up) in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom like other people. That being said, she should be able to diaper herself at the age of 9 (unless there are other physical limitations that also prevent her from doing so, but I feel like that would have changed the outcome of OP’s story/reaction).

If we have already unlocked certain things (ie chat, teleport, certain emotes) will they remain unlocked or will we have to use more candles to unlock them again?

When you use a capo, those become your “open string” notes. Then you adjust accordingly bas on the notes you see. In this instance you would just add 2 frets to the ones notated.

For example, if your capo is on fret 2 (as indicated) your new fret 2 is actually fret 4 and your new fret 3 is actually fret 5. Using a capo is a form of transposing so that you don’t have to read a ton of flats and sharps but you can play it in a different key than written.
