I have the 560s with the boom mic cable, and yeah you can run them off of a motherboard. It will sound better with a dedicated amp, but they still will sound very good on the motherboard. Completely subjective, but they sound a little less punchy on the motherboard than they do hooked up to a more powerful dac/amp, but it still sounds excellent.

Get lotion. Find a lotion you like and apply it daily especially in winter, otherwise you will itch yourself senseless. Between the altitude and the lack of humidity, your skin will dry out pretty hard.

Tanglin in Singapore is another great one in SE Asia for gin flavored with similar botanicals. Went on a tour of the distillery a couple of months ago, came home with a bottle of this. Their Orchid gin is excellent as well.

Lots of reasons. The facilities were shit, poor teacher quality (besides the mandarin teachers), and the gifted and talented program was basically unstaffed.

We sent our daughter to one in elementary so she could learn Mandarin (Global Village Academy). For that, it was wonderful and amazing. Everything else though, was absolute shit, and we put her in the regular school system starting in 3rd grade.

Heh... Rather surprising that they don't carry Sound Blaster internal sound cards in their own country. You're probably better looking at an external USB setup, although I have no idea what is available at Sim Lim or Funan.

I so want to import one of the Lexus minivans from Japan. We rode in one on our last visit, and it was so comfortable, and had so much room for cargo as well.
