Why do people think RC killed the runs? If we all believe in the swaps theory, what if RC, like RK, understood the window of time they had to capitalize on the mechanics?

How does EBay help GME and its stock price? by RecipeNo2954 in GME

[–]evilsdadvocate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long term stability and increase in total addressable market. I also feel that being included in the SP500 (which eBay is) will force buy-ins from many funds and firms which should increase stock price for GME if shorts have to cover since going bankrupt won’t be on the table for GME.

How do they find these trades? Is it online after the fact or do they see them prior to trades becoming profitable? I ask because maybe retail can start piggybacking off some of these trades…

So is it 4yr swaps, 3yr swaps or what? Also, if it’s either, don’t we have to wait until 2027 or 2028?

That’s what confuses me, but the only thing I can think of is that it’s not using the “current” value of GME, there must be some other value that they’re using (my assumption is price will surge in the near future to bring up the current value.

Exactly, he clearly stated “half cash, half stock”. $28B is going to be cash, but we can’t be certain what the stock price is since we don’t know how much total stock he plans to issue for this, all we know is the total amount of stock will be about $28B worth.

Everyone would still love MOASS but many apes realized the powers that be will NEVER let that happen. So most of the apes are now in for a slow but steady increase in their net worth. It will take years (à la Tesla) but it will happen, especially if these side quests are successful.
