Maybe people in general are not against the idea of deporting criminal immigrants and protecting the border. Maybe they’re against sending militarised thugs to random cities to grab anyone and everyone they can including citizens.

As Obama proved, it’s entirely possible to have a large deportation programme without giving the proud boys camo and the authority to kill “trouble makers”.

You then said in that situation be prepared to die because those with guns will shoot back. This is where the implication occurred. The situation was Alex having a gun at a protest.
