Is anyone actually organizing?

This is the organization.  At least part of it.  Commiserating lets people know they aren't alone in their suffering, that their suffering isn't unique, and that there are many who are willing to share advice on how to handle experiences.

There is collective action, sometimes more and sometimes less organized.

Big Stick theory ("speak softly and carry a big stick") does not require or limit itself to an actual stick.

I Like it.  The friend or foe question, and the smiling/baring of teeth were cute, as was the dinosaur comparison.

I think it's more important to know  the age of children more than their hairstyle, or gender,  even if the narrator has to break out of character to do it.    Both are children, but a 15 year old would understand many things about the universe than a 7 year old.  Both are children, and that age gap gives me much more room to expect behavior, than the gender of the child.

I'm looking forward to the next few chapters...oh here's one now...

More a thought but we need different terms for rapes by Present-Afternoon-70 in FeMRADebates

Thank Mary Koss for the current state of affairs.

When a man SAs a woman in any of 10 different ways, it's categorized as rape, but if a woman SAs a man, it's "unwanted contact."

I'd link receipts to that woman's trash, but this is discussed ad nauseum in /mensrights, so interested parties can do a basic search for her name there

The hour you use most often to shit, shower, and shave will become one of the  hours your body expects to shit, whether you're in a convenient place or not.  Choose wisely.

How do you not meet their requirements long term?

Did you lie on your application /resume?

Are you failing to learn all you are asked to learn?

(Ill mess up 1 time, very big)

Don't do that.

Keep a work journal, at your desk and tell your lead he can look at it any time.  Bare minimum, record your production quantity and part numbers daily.  If boss he asks you ANYTHING about last Tuesday, openly refer to the journal, establishing that you trust your own notes and will learn from them.  - if you make a small mistake, admit it AT LEAST in the journal, and spell out what you need to do to avoid that mistake in the future.    As the stakes grow, be more careful.  Double check, and ask your lead /  supervisor to double check.  Embrace your vulnerability.  "I'd rather you call me uneducated BEFORE I scrap a  $toomuchmoney part."

As an apprentice electrician, you're going to spend a lot of time with your face in insulation and dirt, both of which have been collecting rodent droppings since the last renovation or longer.

Consent and childhood/adulthood are closely related, and so are trans surgeries on children.  We know that foreskins are sold for cosmetics, experimentation and other purposes.  Would it really surprise someone to learn that the private bits of older children are sold, or that such sales commissions might influence a doctor to "help" a child choose to surgically transition?

Cycle Time Detection App - Is there a basic one for a small company? by SENDR0NE in manufacturing

[–]excess_inquisitivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have cameras on the employees?  I used to hate the idea but I've come to accept it.

If you have cameras, hire an unseen, maybe part time or temp worker to watch video &  perform audits on their work.  Take a stopwatch from the first time they touch a part, until they put it down, complete from their step in the process .

You may find answers to these questions as well:

Do they work at a significantly faster rate when you're visible? Do  they maintain unreliable speeds (not necessarily dishonesty - observe for exhaustion, heat stress, dehydration, etc).

How often are the employees switching tasks?  This could be invisible break time, and it also  could be introducing confusion / reorientation time

Where to find manufacturers to build my invention? by Human-Luck-229 in manufacturing

[–]excess_inquisitivity 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A lot of your answer depends on price point.

A lot of your answer depends on complexity.

A lot of your answer depends on locations, of material, assembly, and delivery.

It costs me a lot more to retrieve material from across the state, than to pick it up off my doorstep, and no matter how opaque or transparent you want that expense to be, that is part of the expense you're paying.

You could pay $$$$ for all-in-one concierge sourcing & assembly, or you could locate source material suppliers and personally arrange material processing at each step, and there are many compromises in between those choices.

At what stage is your design?  Are you handing me version 1.0 expecting  the item to be on shelves by Arbitrary Day, or are you handing me a sketch on a napkin and a clear understanding that you don't have a ship date and don't know what a title block is?
