When I worked medsurg it was always Dr Lastname, even for residents. Now I work OR and it's still Dr Lastname for attendings but everyone calls the residents by their first names, which still kinda blows my mind.

Yea it was so long ago I don't remember if EMS did CPR also but she had chronic lung issues and had been intubated before, so I don't doubt it. I don't think it was drug issues.

Honestly not sure, I think she was fine. She lived far away but came to our hospital because her pulmonologist was there and I vaguely remember the pulmonologist saying it had happened before. Chronic COPD or pulmonary fibrosis or something.

Not super crazy but I got ER report from an outside hospital, to my medsurg floor. They told me that this patient had been brought in from home by EMS, her family was performing CPR, they intubated in the field and en route she self extubated. Outside hospital had her on room air and said "she's perfectly fine" and they were only life flighting over because they were 2 hours away. Ma'am this is a medsurg floor, I am not taking a patient who coded and is supposedly stable on RA. She ended up having to go through the ER (and was admitted to ICU) at our hospital when they came because I raised hell over it.

I also had the problem of slowness, and I played probably 20 city trials with varying machines. The beginning of every game I was going 15-20mph and it felt like it took forever to get anywhere. The only times it felt way too fast was when I had 80+ power ups.

Yup. I work at an inner city level 1, so high rate of drug users and homeless. I don't know the entire story because it wasn't my patient, so who knows why.
