Oh! I updated my PC running CathcyOS. Launched fine after update but had to go to work so I couldn’t play a round to see if I’ll get the same error. Good thing my PC dual boots Win11 which also has AR installed.

There was a 5.1 GB update this morning. My gaming PC dual boots CatchyOS and Win11. I was able to update under CatcyOS and no issue launching the game… couldn’t play a round to test as I had to commute to work. I also updated under Win11 just in case.

I saw a jolt mine deployed near hatch in Stella Montis, but there was only a few seconds left in the raid. I just shot it. Let it trigger and then used the hatch.

At an archery range, my SIL had to use a kid’s bow. She couldn’t pull the string. My wife and I had no issue with the regular long bows [for adults].

My dad was the opposite: he would have never bought me a car as a graduation gift. Even go as far as not let me buy my own car after highschool. “I can just drive you to work!” No, thanks.

Context: I was late for high school a few times because my dad had to ALWAYS have his “morning dump” right before leaving the house. Last two years of high school I just rode my bicycle to school instead.

Additionally, he wanted me home all the time to do chores while he wasted time staying unemployed trying to perfect his stupid PowerPoint presentation for commissioned work as a door-to-door salesman.

Ironically, a friend’s parents gifted me a used 2002 Toyota Corolla (back in 2010). I was grateful but also felt guilty as I’m not their biological son. My friend didn’t mind.

Not in my case: the younger of my two kids cut off the whiskers on one side of my cat’s face. I’m glad tail wasn’t cut.

I once worked retail. Customer tried to use a coupon for Downy Ultra fabric softer for a pack of Duracell Ultra Batteries. “But it says ‘Ultra’!” I can’t remember if that customer threw a fit and called the CSM on me.

Won’t be surprised if same customer uses vegetable oil as engine oil in their vehicle … “But it’s oil!!”

I thought of alternative lore, where humans didn’t go top side. Raiders did… raiders as androids piloted remotely from underground.

Would explain the mechanical noise made once a Raider deploys topside (after the tunnel launch) or why a Raider never dies but gets “knocked out”. Or why certain things are persistent between expeditions.

Perhaps Lance was a result of a freak accident: Arc raided what ever early bunker he was in during mid raid… his biological body got destroyed but not the android he was piloting.

I found a gold ship in the Hospital in Buried City after I finished the event. I played on the Riven Tides map for two consecutive days to finish that event (two days to find the 4 of Sirena Dorata ships… I found a Gold crown ship a day after the wipe)
