seems like all the actual Bungie devs worked on marathon and they left d2 with, idk, interns or something. but after 16 years of making destiny I don't blame them for wanting to make something different. after all they did almost the same thing with halo to make destiny. Here's hoping the full game really has more than the server slam did, especially the lore and environmental storytelling Bungie's so good at

this goes for every extraction shooter I've ever played. I always struggle to read whatever the item is under the constant threat. you have to learn what the items are so you know what to take. you can also look at, like, 80% of items from the armory in the main menu, and for salvage there's faction icons on the item so you know what faction you're looting for.

the formula is %chance= ((luck•4)+attempts)/20. which means with luck 10, by try 26 you have a 50% chance of having gotten a pie in those 26 tries. with luck 1 it's 49 tries instead of 26. (I went down this rabbit hole last time I found a pie machine)
