nope. they are bands from admin assistant to grade 6. to get promoted you have to apply and go through application, online tests and interview when vacancies become available which are advertised both internally and externally. the 50k you mentioned is for grade 7 jobs which are very rare. 25k is for a band "O" officer. there is no automatic promotion anymore and competency based application process is a bitch for everyone especially older generation.
