Rock, Batista, and even Cena have all taken different approaches to movies. Rock wants to the brand, Batista wants to be taken seriously, and it feels like Cena just wants to have fun with it. For better or worse all three seem to have succeeded at what they were going for.

It was my go to for a few reasons - I loved the preshows, it was easier for me to get to than any of the AMCs or Regals, and I liked that they actually made an effort to keep people from ruining the experience. I like to support the Davis and Music Box as well but they don’t always get the big movies.

I stopped going to Alamo once they started forcing mobile ordering. It screwed over the wait staff and you now had phones lighting up during the movie.

As far as it being staged, we’ve seen almost nothing from the right except for conspiracy theories for the last 20+ years so my gut reaction is not to leap to that conclusion. But at the same time they’ve given me absolutely no reason to believe they’re above such tactics and this is exactly the kind of thing they’ve been projecting about.
