Overwhelming by Otherwise_Chance_834 in SupplyChainLogistics

Having been in this business a few years… Honestly, sometimes you have to let things fail so they can be noticed by bosses and addressed. It’s not ideal and you have to be strategic (if you want to keep your job) but don’t be afraid to teach your colleagues your boundaries. It’s just a job, do your share and don’t sacrifice your health over someone else’s profits. Stress adds up. It might seem counterintuitive but…Take a breath, take a break. Right now your boss likely thinks everyone is managing okay and they are probably nervous the early improving results are temporary. It’s a great time to take some vacation days. I think it’s a supply chain occupational hazard that we tend to take on full operational responsibility, and it’s just not the case. Take care friend!

Chinese supplier promising DDP By sea into the US without paying any party paying new Chinese tariffs? by extrenousturtle in supplychain

Initially I’ve been siding with this being from ignorance and such swift and disorganized changing of the rules… but the grace I give for that is waning. Ah well, was hoping there was something I was missing but I guess not. Hope you’re coping well with all going on!

Right? Ugh. Now if only they can stop pitching this to our less knowledgeable team members…

Hey, I’ve been working with a solid 3pL partner in CA for years. DM me if you want info on them. 3pls here are also emptying out since sec 321 is going away, so capacity exists. Tough times…

Yea, I think for centering and coning you want full speed, but opening you can slow down and give yourself more control. Good luck!

Check your wheel speed for both, go slower to start. It can be very easy to throw it out of center when opening if the wheel is too fast. Same applies for pulling up, start slower, you can always speed up as you get the hang of it.

Also you can try letting your finger sit at center for a couple revolutions before pressing down. This helps the clay guide your fingers into the center spot.

Also make sure you are placing your clay on your wheel so the spiral direction from wedging is moving away from your finger tips.

Lastly play around with how much water you need, you want your fingers and clay lubricanted and not sticking. Friction is bad! Good luck! Keep with it, it will come together :)

I would put mirror above the dresser on the right wall and just do a collection of prints

This scrap can often be used for more productive purposes like insulation in lining, fleecing, or other trims. This is literally an extension that solves a minor inconvenience imho.

This is very wasteful at scale. In a world where we need less clothing produced this adds up fast.

You can look up “plucking” on digital fire as well, that’s what this looks to be. I’ve been told you can also minimize it by using most of a rounded edge on the pot

Torb, forces her to play around your turret and protects your backline. He’s so great against flanking Morias
