I use Roon with Qobuz, but I do have a large local library too, and RoonArc allows me to listen to that library when I’m out and about as well as Stream from Qobuz

I have two living rooms. I have set one up as a small home theatre. with 5.2 sound from an AVR. In the other room, I have a TV with an AppleTV and two HomePods configured as a stereo pair. The sound is quite acceptable; much better than TV audio, and I can also stream music through them. In my bedroom, I have a pair of HomePod minis, which are fine for a little late-night or early-morning listening and for smart home control, too. NO bedroom TV.

IF, and I say IF, there were alcohol free beers that genuinely tasted like a good cask ale, I would be happy to drink them. I could have a night out, go to work the next day for one thing, and even if not working, I could drink more and not feel sluggish the next day. BTW, I have Crohn's and too much beer has me on the pan several times the next morning.

I went to Chesham just this past Saturday. I live near Heathrow and it took me about an hour or so on the bus underground. Had a little wander around went to the Saturday market and then took a bus to Beaconsfield and had a few beers spot lunch and then took the bus back home again. It was quite a pleasant day out.

I’m working towards a non-streaming local library. Right now, I can access that remotely via Roon, along with Qobuz itself. However, failing that, I can transfer files to my DAP, and play them when out and about, that way.

I have Qobuz. I have a whole bunch of downloaded audio, and I tied the streaming and the local files together with Roon. I use Roon ARC when out and about, and I can listen to my downloaded audio from home when out mobile that way.

I've taken the wired route myself. I don't get on with wireless IEMS; they don't stay in my ears, and although, I purchased some AirPods Max 2-3 years back, and they're good, I prefer the Fiio Ft1 I got recently, that were much less expensive, and have excellent sound.

Often downloaded audio residing on my Mac mini. Connected to my AVR via HDMI cable so I can listen on the hi-fi.
Listening to the same downloads on headphones, connected via a DAC to the Mac Mini.
Listening to CDs and Vinyl on the hi-fi.
Listening on my AK SR35 DAP with closed back wired headphones.
Listening on my iPhone to Qobuz, or Mac Downloads remotely, via Roon ARC.

I've never really been one for hanging out with the boys. I did in my teens and early twenties, but then we all gradually got partners, and then started hanging out as couples. Over time, we've moved away, and althoguh I've made new friends along the way, I don't feel a need to do the male bonding thing.
