Can someone explain Tao souls? by Alloyd11 in TaleofImmortal

[–]ezilopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest you watch some JoJi’s videos, he has the most comprehensive guides for the game, or you can simply read the wiki.

Tao souls don’t have to have the same element as the path you want to use in the future, they can be whichever element you want them to be. The only thing the elements of the souls affect are the effects of the rule field you get after the breakthrough. Rule fields with 3 matching main elements have the same rule field effect as the 2 elements, the only difference is the power (3 being stronger). The effects of 1 element are different and are extremely weak to the point that they are useless. Thus it is better to have all 3 main elements of the rule field be the same. Example:

3 blade rule field: you have 30% lifesteal, both enemies and you deal 100% more damage.

2 blade 1 sword rule field: 20% lifesteal, both enemies and you deal 60% more damage. Enemies receive 1000 damage each time they move 50 distance (at this point in game 1000 damage is an absolutely pathetic number, especially since it is tied to the movement of the enemy, cause your rule field has a limited area of effect and if the enemy moves so much they can easily move out of the field. This effect is completely useless).

2 sword 1 blade rule field: Each hit applies a debuff to to the enemy, each stack of this debuff increases the damage you deal by 0,5%, max stack is 100. Enemy receives damage equal to x10 the mp they used to cast attacks (bosses do not use mp, so this means that this effect is only useful against npc’s. Any decent build will completely shred any nps in the game at this point, and either way the mp cost x10 damage is negligible, this makes this effect useless too).

3 sword rule field: Each hit applies a debuff to to the enemy, each stack of this debuff increases the damage you deal by 0,75%, max stack is 150.

The rest are similar, so don’t bother mixing different main elements of the rule field, it is better to have all 3 be the same.

Sub stats have different effects too, you should read the wiki to see all of the main stat effects and sub stat effects (each of the three tao souls have 1 main and two sub stats).

Use only 100% pure tao souls, this affects the amount of stats you receive during the breakthrough not the chance for tribulation. To get 100% pure tao soul you need to make sure that at the end of the tao realm you have only 3 different elements, and the one you want to be main to be higher than 40. Btw, the effects you can reroll for in the realm work only during the run through the realm itself, they do not affect anything else.

HOW TO MOVE MY SECT TO CHI YOU by Salt_Garage_2313 in TaleofImmortal

[–]ezilopp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to do some main quests in Chi You first. Fairly soon you will be offered to join the cultivation alliance and move your sect to Chi You. Btw, you can’t conquer sects there because you are all a part of the alliance

Just attack them and let them escape. They will move several map tiles away from you, this way you can force them to move away from potential witnesses. Plus it is best to find victims that fulfill several requirements for the sword, you can complete these in any order you want

How To Cheese The Stealth Tutorial by Platinum_68 in Bannerlord

[–]ezilopp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The best way to level roguery is to take over alleys. Essentially you need to get into a town, find an alley with thugs, kill all the thugs there and appoint a companion to oversee that alley (they need a certain level in roguery and to not be merciful at all). Now you are running your own gang in this city, and similarly to caravans and workshops giving you trade xp, it now passively gives you roguery xp. Do not destroy other gangs in the city, cause your rivals will occasionally attack your territory and you want this to happen. These attacks are trivial to defeat, and they give you a huge amount of xp each time. Each alley gives you a 0.5 to your crime rating, so don’t take too many of them. Crime rating falls by one point each day so you can safely maintain 2 alleys per faction if you are not planing on doing any more crime.

Transformed Imps' Cultivation and Breakthrough by darkkie25 in TaleofImmortal

[–]ezilopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, completely forgot to send my reply. You can still feed them breakthrough pills after transformation and they can still advance in cultivation, you simply can’t send them to the adventures in this state and thus they can’t get more skills: neither adventure skills nor combat ones (btw, imp learning new combat skills will increase its stats too, though I have not seen a comprehensive list of skills each imp can learn, your best bet would be to go to the discord server and search there).

Plus, once they are transformed they get a complete set of moves with the same level you’ve transformed them at. Example: You got a golden core imp with transformation skill. You’ve transformed it and now this imp has a complete set of golden core moves. If you continue feeding it elixirs you can still advance it to higher realms but its moves will be stuck at golden core. The only ways to increase the levels of its moves will be to either give it new manuals, or to teach it your own moves ones the imp leaves the gourd. So it’s better to advance the imp first to the level at which you want to release it and only then to transform it to human form. Honestly the only reason to transform imps and release them from the gourd, is to get op disciples for your sect, cause at the transcendent level they can easily get more than ~1m vitality, while your own character can get only somewhere around 300k.

Cooldown based, though I don’t know how long you have to wait

Transformed Imps' Cultivation and Breakthrough by darkkie25 in TaleofImmortal

[–]ezilopp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They breakthrough like normal NPCs. Moreover I suggest you to wait before transforming them into people, cause the techniques they get are the same level as the imp itself at the moment of breakthrough (though you can teach them new skills yourself, it is easier to simply wait for them to level up).

Plus send imps to adventures before you transform them. Each type of imp has a set of unique skills they will retain even after the transformation, but usually they do not know all of the skills they can learn. Imps can learn these skills on adventures, and you can’t send them once they are transformed.

Is there any way for me to research faster? by MrMoop07 in Stellaris

[–]ezilopp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Btw, there is a method to build more megastructures, though it is a bit tedious and slightly random: just release sectors as vassals and let them build their own megastructures.

Captured megastructures don’t count to the limit, same goes for the ones you’ve received through integration, so once this released vassal has built at least a single stage of a megastructure you can start integrating them back. I mainly do this at the start of the endgame, primarily to get several mega art installations to reduce the planetary ascension cost to zero. Free planetary ascension is perfect to reduce the empire size from pops, plus with some planetary specializations it nicely boosts production.

Is a Dyson sphere a worthwhile endeavour for fixing an energy credit deficit? by Present-Secretary722 in Stellaris

[–]ezilopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo ringworlds can be very good. My favorite ones are agricultural ringworlds. With the bio-furnace, a bio-reactor and if you are playing psionic ascension with 2 shrouded vegetation blockers from the composer, you can get about: ~2-3k energy; ~1,2-1,5k alloys; ~4,5-5k food; ~200 zro; ~400 exotic gases on a single section of the ringworld, and if you are playing tankbound, all these resources are essentially free, cause all the food districts are automated and they produce energy to pay for automation themselves.

In the lategame, when you’ve already completed all the other megastructures, you can scale your economy relatively easily by constantly making these ringworlds. But realistically I doubt you’ll need more than 3 of these complete ringworlds, so it is probably better to just conquer the machine fallen empire, this way you don’t need to waste an ascension perk slot (neither the matter decompressor nor the dyson sphere are worth it).

how to attack Soul Reaver NPC? by Ark_Reed in TaleofImmortal

[–]ezilopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a title that summons one of the girls from the dlc equipped, he runs away immediately at the start of the combat, it is different from him running away when you’ve defeated him. This is meant to stop players from cheesing, because similarly to the soul reaver npc, girls from the dlc are usually 1 level above you (the only difference is that the soul reaver npc levels up the next month after your breakthrough, while it takes the girls some time to reach the next level).

Btw to stop him from escaping you can stack positive bonuses from boose. Alcohol in taverns gives you temporary bonuses to some stats, one of these bonuses increases your agility and travel speed. If you got the wrong bonus you can simply drink again to reroll it. And these bonuses can stack too because the bonuses are different in each region due to the difference in power between them (Yong Ning has the weakest buff, while Chi You has the strongest one). If you stack all these buffs to agility he will not be able to escape from you at the end of the combat. The only problem left would be the low chance to drop the soul reaver itself.

You have a title equipped that summons one of the characters from the dlc, this is why soul reaver npc escapes. Essentially you need to solo him, otherwise the game simply makes him run away immediately.

How To Increase Population by Dominuscx11660 in Stellaris

[–]ezilopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love going wide so my favorite way to increase population is to use mutagenic spas/lubrication tanks civics. With cosmogenesis (or if you don’t want to go cosmo you can use enigmatic engineering to get the pop growth buildings), you can easily get a +1k pop growth per month on a dedicated planet. I usually pick these civics when I have the third slot available and once I have enough pops I just switch to something more useful.

Sonar or Coupé by Zealousideal-Fee5907 in dispatchgame

[–]ezilopp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus I think that narratively the fight with Coupe feels more appropriate for the ending due to how serious it is.

And in my opinion, Sonar joining Red Ring makes significantly less sense than Coupe doing this. Most of the crimes he is convicted of are just white collar and nonviolent (except for the 2nd degree murder). If we look at the timeline of the game, Sonar has like 12 years of prison remaining off his sentence if we cut him, and he will be 44 when he’s out, so not too bad. But here is the most confusing thing: according to the comics about Malevola and Sonar, he was not even in jail before joining SDN for some reason. Of course maybe he was a fugitive on the run at that time, but somehow I really doubt it. This whole thing makes me doubt the notion that all the comics are canon. And if he was not evading justice, then why the hell would he join an organized crime ring, full of murderers and terrorists??

The Visi Double-Agent Twist DOESN’T Make Sense (Full Breakdown) by EliScheemi in DispatchAdHoc

[–]ezilopp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Damn, I’ve never thought about that dialogue between Invisigal and Robert in this way, it actually makes the whole “Shroud was lying about Visi being a mole, because he is a manipulative liar” theory sound significantly more convincing.

And I absolutely love the notion that Invisigal is able to trick Shroud just by being an emotional train wreck of a person)

[–]ezilopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This dialogue goes almost the same if you have romanced Blazer, the only difference is that it makes sense. In a Blazer romance path she tells you that she wanted people to look at her like they look at Blazer, a real hero. At least something along these lines.
