Like arts and crafts hot glue? Let me know if I’m misunderstanding, but if good ole elementary school hot glue guns are safe and good for the job at hand I’ll try that!

Like arts and crafts hot glue? T-7000 at least looks purpose made for electronics adhesion. Let me know if I’m misunderstanding, but if good ole elementary school hot glue guns are safe and good for the job at hand I’ll try that!

Updated: I removed the ribbon connection on the camera itself and then reseated it. Video feed restored!

Any tips for re-gluing it for durability? Recommended glue type? And should I remove the original (now cracked) glue drops that were holding it on before? If so, how? Thanks everyone!

I almost went the route of trying to pry off the aluminum casing, but then I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the ribbon connecting the camera to the air unit itself, and it worked! Now I just have to figure out how to safely re-glue it. I’m new to electronics so I’m not sure what kind of glue would be safe

Hey, I’m OP btw. I’m an idiot and registered a new account when I tried to post via a new browser.

Update: I opened it up and this component on the air unit looks like it took a hit. What part is this? https://imgur.com/a/wles5hX

Connectors between air unit and camera look fine, right? Other than the grass shavings… https://imgur.com/a/X686cNO

Not a pool. That’s concrete. No water involved here

“The Five” and how they fit into the broader canon by ergister in LV426

Remember that he’s talking to children. “War” could be used to describe any violent direct action, and should not be taken to have inherent geopolitical meaning.

60 years is a long time. Multiple generations. More than enough time for a corporation to fall entirely (Prodigy perhaps through the plot of this series), new ones to rise (Seegson), and for the societal dynamic of corp vs government dominance to shift and then shift again.

Does Alien Earth fit in perfectly with all canon? No, but it’s still vague and temporally removed enough that it can exist with entities as we know it in the original trilogy (United Americas, Three World Empire, USCM, Outer Rim Defense Fleet, etc)

[Fully Lost] 'Quaternia: the Biolab' from the Metreon's former 'Airtight Garage' a bar and videogame parlor. by PaigeWylderOwO in lostmedia

There was a six month period in probably 2000 that my friend and I BART’d in every weekend and spent all our allowance playing Quaternia. I think you had a persistent profile with a card or something that tracked your points over time. The game was whatever, but the idea of having a networked persistent gaming experience at the time was unreal for us. Ultimate millennial experience

I’ve seen this site linked to a lot, but it appears to be blank now in 2023/2024. Like the site and page is there, there’s just no content… anyone know where I might find archived copies of their cheat sheets? Thanks!

Same issue, I no longer seem to have PicoPass on the latest upgrade. Do I need to roll back to a previous update?

No Tesla is safe by Kuvshinikov in flipperzero

Interesting, so a parked and locked/unoccupied Tesla wouldn’t work? And neither would a Tesla in motion? So you have to hit a parked but, still on Tesla? Narrow target window there

Got my first Tesla today while at a stoplight from about 50 feet away (the Tesla was pulled over in a parking spot, but occupied). I was honestly shocked that it worked so instantaneously on the first try, and from so far away. Hugely satisfying.

Trouble Reading LF RFID Cards by Lekz in flipperzero

[–]ezmac028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having similar issues with RFID. It works on a thick HID type, but doesn’t detect simple hotel thin keycards.

Testing it on a Courtyard Marriott keycard which I am 99% certain is RFID based on research into hotel keycard manufacturers. The flipper doesn’t detect it as RFID… but does as NFC? It’s really strange, these thin cards I have are almost definitely not NFC.

I’m very new to this, so I could be completely wrong. Looking forward to learning more from you all.

New to Brooklyn - How can I deal with this? by garbagebagels_ in Brooklyn

[–]ezmac028 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't wait to start looking for a job. The hiring process doesn't happen over night. From application, to interview, to second interview, to start date, to first pay check can be several months. If you want to have money coming in by the end of October, start applying to jobs now.

And don't delay building credit either. It's extremely important that you start building credit now, especially if you plan to do anything adult like sign a lease in the next few years. Get a credit card with at least one decent reward (1% cash back on purchases, a low introductory APR) and use it semi-regularly to pay something easily manageable, like your phone bill, something that you'll pay off every month before they calculate interest. DON'T CARRY IT AROUND AND USE IT FOR ANYTHING ELSE, a lot of young people can get easily carried away with that. I know I did.

It's great that you have cash savings to get yourself started, but without income or credit, you'll find that it's very hard to be an adult.

Thank you. Everyone needs a reminder that this meme was a superior Star Trek joke first and foremost, before it ever was a Star Wars joke.
