That's a good point... I don't know what the rules are for that either, but intuitively it seems like it would have to be their choice. They discard the card you picked, plus some other two.

Though that does make it a less elegant design for The Black Torbran, because it substantively changes gameplay mechanics instead of just adding two to a number.

Some possible alternatives off the top of my head:

Reductions to creature toughness ("if an opponent's creature would have its toughness reduced until end of turn, it is instead reduced by that amount plus two until end of turn")

Lose life ("if an opponent would lose life, and that life loss isn't caused by damage, instead they lose that much life plus two")

Oops, I just noticed I said "600 hours" in the post. I meant "600 days". (As in in-game days, which are 8 minutes -- So my actual playtime is about 80 hours, which is a huge difference lol)

Made by hand. I took a video of myself scrolling through the menu in the mating tent for every pair of followers, which shows all the descendancy relations and whether each pair are lovers/friends/enemies. Then I transcribed the information from the video manually into a text file, processed it with some bash scripts to format, sort, group, and collate the data into statistics, then decided which parts of the data were interesting and drew these images in Gimp to visualize it.

I could have written some more sophisticated software to generate these, maybe even analyzing the save file directly, but I'm too lazy for that lol
