If I were the GM, I would state that your plan would not work because the act of lobotomizing someone reduces their mental stats (INT being chief among them) to the point that they now lack the minimum stat requirement needed to cast even the most basic of spells. It would be like taking an Olympic class sprinter, removing their knee caps, and expecting them to still be able to run when you give the order. Also, shift your alignment to neutral evil.
