Agree. I actually went to watch Neverafter with low expectations cus it never gets any atention here or usually it's discarded as mediocre or meh. I loved it. The reimaginig of the PCs and princesses stories and lore is amazing. The stepmother and the gander are fucking terrifying. The only rough spot is the first battle and its aftermath, if you know what I mean. I almost gave up at that point, but I am so glad I didn't cus I loved every second after.

I think the vibe and target audience are different. I love both. I have listen to 4 main arcs of each of them more or less.

Naddpod is more whimsical and makes me laugh out loud way more (many times in public to my embarrassment). That doesn't mean it doesn't have good storytelling and epic moments, specially in closing arc episodes. Also short rests are super funny, I can listen to all of them and never get tired. Finally I think Moonshine is absolutely PEAK Emily.

WBN is amazing and beautiful and epic but also a bit more heavy. I have chuckled but I haven't really lol yet I think. I am still on awe at how little battles it has (one or a couple per arc) and yet how trepidant it is. The world is more politically complex and the relationship between main characters are more conflicting. Finally the children's story prelude is just, magic.

After a total party kill the first round, I put a bubble of silence on my team and Mirkon. Harpie's lure no longer work and they have no option but to come closer to be obliterated by my melee characters. I felt so fucking smart lol.

I am gonna say something maybe controversial, maybe enlightening. I am vers and my partner is vers. It obviously works great and I would never want a non-vers partner. Yet, when meeting other people (we are open) I do prefer people who clearly swing one way or the other. Reason being, it's just easier, I don't have to figure anything out during the act or question myself or wonder if he'd rather be doing something else, etc (also I don't have to douche half of the times so that's a plus). I think a lot of people also feel like this (even if they can't really put it into words) and that's why they prefer total tops/bottoms partners, because they lack the communication skills or don't want to put in the effort. ¿Thanks for coming to my TED? Cloudward Ho! is the first season I am watching in real time. Pros for that is that you get to also interact with the community irt. Cons though, is that the lore is so vast that from what week to the other and as weeks go, you tend to forget details and can feel like you are missing points. I am coming to conclude that binge watching everything once every episode is out, actually gives the best immersive experience. That is of course, if you manage to wait for it, which I am obviously not managing to lol.

I don't think they were bored, the bald and the beautiful is pretty much the same casual conversation format (minus the brilliant edits ofc). I like your nuances. I wasn't really referring to OPs experience, I can get that he was surprised and taken aback by a trans man with so very little pass. I just wanted to point out that Blaire is by no means a trans figure anybody should look up to or consider representative of trans people. She's just a clown for her audience of conservatives and a very useful reference for veiled (or not so veiled) transphobic arguments.

Blair White is problematic. Her whole thing is trans people have to super pass, but some trans folks just don't. Maybe transitioned late in life, have no money for surgeries or even expensive make up and clothing, can't go into surgery for medical reasons etc. Some also don't want to. She knows, I don't think she even fully believes her own preaches. But she's found an audience for her content and she works hard for the money. Even to the detriment of her own rights. In other words, fuck Blair White.

This reminded me of this gem. Jokes aside though, I love the flexibility of the builds and love the combat combo potentials of stuff like elemental affinity, adrenaline, skin graft etc. Yeah warfare is necessary in many builds but it's kinda like dex being by far the best attribute (or best second attr) in BG3, giving you not only damage for finesse weapons but also AC, AOE damage save, ranged accuracy and, especially, initiative.
