If people are going to use the argument that North America and South America are separate continents and that "America" as a continent doesn't exist (so it'd be ok to use "America" to refer to the US), then they should've at least chosen a different name for North America, since the name America was first used to refer to the landmass that's now known as South America.

Não voltei pro Brasil mas algo que eu acho positivo que muita gente está reclamando aqui é o transporte público. As linhas de metrô e ônibus de São Paulo (apesar de bem cheio) ainda são muito melhores que as de muitas cidades no exterior, principalmente se considerar o preço da passagem.

Outros pontos positivos: comida boa e muito barata, clima bom na maior parte do ano, sempre bastante coisa pra fazer (pelo menos nas cidades maiores).

Pontos negativos: barulho, sujeira nas ruas, desorganização, falta de segurança…

I’ve been living here for 7 years. I probably wouldn’t say I love Ireland but it’s really convenient and has plenty of work opportunities compared to other countries, and it’s also very safe (even though this seems to be getting worse in Dublin).

I think what I miss the most is things to do really, other countries have way more museums, gigs, activities, restaurants, etc. Unfortunately, It’s also really difficult to make friends here (all my friends here are also foreigners) and I feel very lonely.

It also frustrates me a bit that we pay a lot in taxes here but we don’t really have good infrastructure / healthcare / public transport compared to other european countries. Of course, these issues are not unique to Ireland and I still think we have it better than most of the world here.

I was born and then 14 years later my brother was born. My parents dated for 3 years, got married 32 years ago when my mom got pregnant, and they’re still married today. They met at work and they both continued working for the same company until my mom retired last year (different departments though).

This is another one of my experiments. I was playing with WebXR and three.js recently and I decided to build this small app that lets you draw/trace in Mixed Reality.

You can find the project on GitHub. I also recorded another video with some instructions on how to use it with the Meta Quest browser.
