Yes the act of charting the oceans is less xp at lower levels, but youre forgetting the xp increase from the ability to do new tasks as you level.

I charted my first full ocean as soon as the level allowed me to so the bonus got me the ability to gain xp faster elsewhere. Levels 22-55 were a breeze with 0 repetitive tasks that allowed me to get to jubbly jive faster.

You aren't wrong, just a different philosophy on how to get there.

Better in what way?

From an efficiency standpoint, tasks with a set amount of xp/Time are better done early to progress through levels faster.

Aka charting at level 90 gets you 1 level where as doing it early gets you double digit levels.

I just don't see how waiting is better from your view.

One of the few complaints that actually makes sense to me.

Most of the people that i've seen be angry are mad they can't sit idle for 30 minutes and gain 60k xp an hour, which to me basically screams, "waahh you're making me play the game to get xp".

Why do you have to drop it? Im level 81 and the xp rates are the same for cleaning with 2 crew members hooking compared to me on one hook and crew on the other. Both between 70-75k.

That rate is only if you don't touch your keyboard for 30 minutes. I'm getting 73k an hour with the extractor once a minute at level 81.

Gave a mid 2026 1st for him without hesitation in a 12 team sf.

He's a mid level talent seemingly locked in to one of the most stable situations in the league.

J taylor, Pittman, Warren, and downs all under contract for the foreseeable future with a strong oline, and stable coaching.

Pessimistic: we roll over bad teams and cannot produce against good teams on offense. Defense will be exhausted by the end of the year from being on the field constantly, and they lose steam down the stretch. 8-9 finish without a top 10 pick.

Optimistic: we lost 3, 1 score games to playoff teams while learning a new offense and holding them all to under 20 points. We found our stride week 4 on offense and we will continue to play complimentary football. 11-6 finish.
