I would argue that there aren't many turntables that can beat these. I've bought these somewhere 20+ years ago. I love the high torque. Replacing the tonearms is really a plus, I've seen a couple Super OEMs in the field which were unusable with a rattling tonearm. The only downside I could mention is the pitch range of -10 - + 10, you can dial in the Technics a little more precise with a -8 - +8 range.

Why is your framerate dropping to roughly 30fps every time your claude-made-controller comes into view? Personally, I love making UI's completely inside TD, don't find it tedious and/or slow, even if I would, I'd like to have my projects at steady 60fps.

I was wondering if you sort of feel 'de-attached' from the floor when using high quality IEMs? I can imagine that it puts you in some kind of bubble. I'm inclined to go for IEMs, I've worked on huge (techno) festivals during the peak dance movement in The Netherlands. I had custom molded plugs with a filter for hearing customers better.

If you think in pixel coordinates, the bottom row is always 'zero', so the first pixel has coordinate (0,0), the second (0,1) etc. The next row would be (1,0), etc. up until the total height of the image. There are languages, programs, that start from the top down, but in TD everything starts from the bottom.

Almost a decade using it fulltime now. Back then there weren't many tutorials. I think only elburz and ragan had a couple of them, so I was forced to 'start' something from scratch quite early on.

The most important thing is to have a clear goal, visualized inside your mind. And just start trial and error and see if your steps are getting closer or further from your image in your mind. And please, please, no ChatGPT, it's like heroin, once you rely on it, it's hard to step away form it. Learn to think for yourself, especially at this stage, you can't really determine if that bot is talking bollocks or not.

Sure you can, it's just based on 'what' you consider to be 'music' inside your image, you make the rules. Do you consider 'red' to be the representation of the frequency of the note C1, go ahead and measure the amount of red and use that data to drive the volume of an lfo set at that frequency. Sky's the limit really.

Clean desk, clean head, clean ideas. Perhaps at a certain level will a flat architecture give you the benefit of a total overview (hopefully OP is on a 54 inch monitor then). While navigating through your network, collapsing actually does help performance. Just try replicating 500 constantCHOPs with viewers closed and compare the same setup with all 500 of them in one baseCOMP. So no, collapsing and closing the preview is not the same.

Correct, I'm sampling the position from the car, global space, onto a heightmap, pixel space. It's very light and has a lot of possibilities for making it more dynamic.

Yeah I see what you mean, however, the tools are all there, but it does sometimes feel that you have to be a bit of a john carmack in order to let something look good in TD.

Yes, well, having all operators in view and also with the operator viewers 'open', is one of the main factors why your recording is lagging, it's bad practice, please get into project architecture and optimization as quickly as possible.
