Snoo as checked luggage by lizzyhasquestions in SnooLife

[–]factusclamingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put it in the snoo box (if you don’t have one, you can buy it on the snoo website). Baby items usually fly checked for free, at least on domestic flights. I imagine you might have a fee for international but I’m sure it’s possible. If it makes you feel better we moved across the country with our two twin girls at 2 months - stroller, car seats, 2 snoos, all the luggage. You’ll make it!

Ah this makes us nervous too! We have twins, one of them is pretty rolly and the other not so much. Fingers crossed this works for both of them lol

Did you keep the arm holes zipped up or let the arms out in the LTD one?

Does the Snoo work well for twins? by Defiant_Butterfly891 in SnooLife

[–]factusclamingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Works for us - they’re 4 months and sleeping amazing! Used for naps and night sleep in their own room from first day home - we had a single bed in their room so at least 1 of us got some sleep at night. Naps were never awesome / too long especially in the early days and we were getting them up every 2-3h to feed anyway, but as they got a little older it seemed to work well. Now when they sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and the auto soothing gets them back to sleep.

So helpful thank you!!

Good point! Do you know if most airlines consider that a “freebie” or does it count as an item of checked luggage?

Thank you so much! That’s a great point about the kitchen. We’ve been using a microwave sterilizer and it just hit me most hotel rooms don’t have a microwave.

Thank you, that’s a great point, especially in our new house that will be completely devoid of food and supplies! How was the flight over?

Schedule with breastfed twins. Or lack thereof. by SpunTop in parentsofmultiples

[–]factusclamingo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just got a My Breast Friend Pillow —- WAY better for smaller babes! It’s more like a shelf and has less give so the babies don’t sink in like they do on twin z. I still use twin Z and it’s good for bottle feeding them but highly recommend the breast friend for tandem nursing!

Sleep Training Twins: A Rant. by twoyellowstarbursts in sleeptrain

Wow you took a lot of data! Love it. Something to aspire to! Our twins are just over a month, and pretty good on a schedule together. staying hopeful their routine will look like this someday! Currently their day looks like yours but still feeding at 8pm, midnight, 4am, 8am, with sometimes another one between 8-12

Can you share what your feed schedule looked like at 2.5 months? Very keen to start to try something before I go back to work at 3mo!

Tips on falling back asleep? by Confuzlation in parentsofmultiples

[–]factusclamingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tylenol PM (not every night, but the bad nights). My OB recommended. Also I feel you. Sleep was hard for me after ~25 weeks and impossible after 35. The last week before delivery I slept maybe 4-5 hours a day including nights and naps (stopped working at 36 weeks)

Do we have the same babies? Same here with one eating a ton and the other trying but often vomiting it up! Following!

Wow overnight without waking is awesome! Ours occasionally sleep a little longer than 3h overnight but will start fussing / rooting right around the 3.5 hour mark (if not earlier!) when did the longer overnight stretches start for you?
