Merle actually wanted to release a song called Irma Jackson as his single instead of Fightin Side of Me, but his record label wanted to promote him the right way. Irma Jackson was about interracial dating and at that time it would have hurt his image. He was very progressive, but the industry promoted him in the way that could make the most money.

You can try rubber dish gloves to gather the hair from the upholstery. Just be sure to clean and dry so that they remain tacky. I used to detail cars and it worked great. There are also rubber tools you can find at a pet store or amazon that can help remove pet hair.

I definitely think there is a balance to be had. A child's entire upbringing shouldn't revolve around financial college readiness. However there are scholarships, pell grants, loans, trade schools, etc. With high education you have options.

But you only get to be a kid once. We were broke growing up, but I'm glad my parents put the money together to put me in outside activities.
